what happened to the 21st?
Me.
If something can go wrong, it will.
In TSO, opened 50+ Christmas Surprise Packages and was rewarded with:
60 Presents (Most Common)
Pavilion 8
Christmas Tree 10
Angel Monument 4
Arctic Iron Mine 7
Silo 2
Improved Silo 3
No Frozen Manor
Price of Xmas Package more than doubled from last year 195 vs 95
Improved Silo
60 presents as common is OK for me
I may buy XMas Surprise packages if they lowered the price to 95 and likely pass if they keep it at 195. At 195, I may be tempted to get a bunch if Frozen Manor is added.
Other pluses seen: I already have a Rarity Provision House and was allowed to get a second one for 995 presents (could be a bug as second one does not allow upgrades). Unlocks like Aunt Irma's Feast (2X 24 hrs) 150 fish, 100 bread, 50 sausages per. Grout costs 60 presents (good for me)
PS: I see Fish Farm at Merchant 845 gems (unlimited).
Problem though with the presents being the most common item, is there is only so much this year you can buy with presents.
At least last year you had mse and rtbn you use all your unwanted leftovers ...its strange they removed the frozen manors and doubled the cost of the boxes there main selling point was the frozen manors. I spent about 20k plus gems on the European server on architect boxes last year
It isn't as 'fun' that they removed the FM but it is better for the long term stability of the game. Last year's xmas took the hardest and best population building to get, and turned it into something where you could get enough to fill your entire island. They should put something else in the box like grout, fish farm sorta thing or a VERY small chance of FM (1% sorta thing)
And I am sure the excess presents will be soaked up by grout or some other building
yes looks like grout should be good to have as silos and imp silos look like they can be level 6 now
Unless you choose to play the test game all the time, it's useless and frustrating. By the time you try to test something, the game is reset and you are back to stupid quests like "your first building". I have pretty much decided not to bother with any more testing. I will figure it all out when it gets to the real game. And I agree that no sensible player wants the frozen iron mine. If you are going to have it, at least make it refillable.
