I think if selling epic lootspots is a problem, deal with that directly or embrace it altogether by developing a system where the buyer automatically accepts a virtual invite by buying the fish or token. I know I know complicated, but a suggestion or then stop it altogether once a fish is purchased. lol *ducks*
Still around from time to time.

I am not sure that they are nerfing iotp for map frags. I am wondering if they have removed for map frags as it is part of the guild market. Perhaps once out of guild market it goes back to map frags.

I am really torn on the loot nerf. It seems, this comes exactly in time when actually MORE loot is needed. New upcoming upgrades will drain the stockpiles of loot very fast (3.5k granite per each Impr Silo), and removing weapons from drop will put a huge pressure on titanium, salt and exo wood. Even with the positive changes to weapons production the amounts of resources to produce expert weapons are very demanding. Once we are forced to fire up all those weapon makers people will quickly realize how fast the resources are consumed and how hard (with nerfed loot) it is to replenish them.

It looks a bit like we are being "pushed" into adventure grind, simply in order to keep production rolling. I personally like to see more carrot approach from the devs than the stick we are getting. O well, we will see what other players feel like once they start using all those weapon makers (including the special pvp).

And in their wisdom BB decided NOT to give us accurate loot tables data on test and instead announced the loot changes coming to life in 2 weeks. There is no communication if one side is silent and doesn't answer. As the wise book says: You want it? You got it. And everything that comes with it...

I don't have confidence in their loot change plans. Many of the maps aren't worth playing at all as it is. By reducing loot further, there literally may not be a single adventure worth the trouble for most players.

I agree nurfing is not a good way to go. RuneScape suffered a drastic drop off of players when skills were nurfed to make room for so called new skills.
The end result was the dismissal of the acting CEO. My advice? Proceed with caution.

With the coming pvp system I see why they are considering such a move. If a player engages in pvp and adv's what would be the combined loot drop be?
To me this appears to be a way to encourage players to engage in pvp. Personally I already have a pvp game I play and this was my decompression game.

Looks like this will be another game I will have to set aside until someone gets some common sense.

It all comes down to the same result each time I try to read the facts. Ubisoft doesn't play the game themselves at all so they probably don't care.
