You can still make map frags, go into the Rarity Provision House on test server and look at bottom of window, there are now tabs just like the mayor house and one of them has the Magic Ink option on it.
From what I heard IOTP loot was nerfed so bad that it's not even worth doing now, I was told that the loot now is so small it's laughable. I guess this was one adv people liked cause of the chance at Granite, so much for that.
This of course was because it's a easier adventure and the way they are scaling the loot rewards by the difficulty of the adventure.
Now for my concerns and questions:
1) Since weapons are no longer going to be dropped from adventures how the heck are we supposed to be able to run Xbow, Cannon, Damascene, Titanium Smelter and anything else associated with making these high end weapons along with all the lower level production? Also the GQ uses some of this higher end stuff so not only do we have to supply it for the GQs now we have to make it all for our own uses too. I can barely keep up with what I produce now, so if you think I am going to run all that your insane, I would rather quit the game first. Less you are making it a lot easy to make this stuff with less resources.
2) If I buy a loot spot (ls) and just do a 1r tag am I going to get the full loot that the person that runs it gets still like it is now? Or am I going to get basically nothing cause I only killed a troop or two?
3) Why did you take Surprise Attack and make it only purchasable by 695 GEMS when it used to cost 500 Map Frags? This is a lame money move on your part forcing people to pay cash for the only decent adventure for higher people to run for experience. Think I answered my own question, it was GREED!
4) You took Frozen Manors out of the xmas box reward chance yet your still charging 195 Gems to buy the boxes, what is wrong with you people. I bought a bunch boxes on test server to see what I would get and almost all of it was non stop Xmas Trees (worthless), tons and tons of 60 xmas present boxes, and other assorted junk, I got a few silos, ISH, Artic mine, but sure as heck is not worth paying 195 gems for any of it with the low chance rate I saw. So I won't be buying these at all. I was going to drop a few hundred on Gems for these boxes cause I wanted FMs, but so much for that idea.
5) Anyone know if Invasion of the Nords (Nords 2) will still have a chance to drop FMs? Although the cost of buying this adventure at 1495 Gems is a bit much for a small chance at a FM.
I will hold off on my decision to quit till I actually see what goes live and what you have done with adventures and so on, but from what I read and seen on test server I am very concerned.
Anyone who thinks expeditions will be optional are fooling themselfs. All adventures that we as a community figured out how to do with very few troops due to MMA/Blocking/General placement are now having loot lowered.
Adventure loot adjustments
The loots will be changed completely. Instead of weapons, raw materials for producing weapons will be included and the loot will be adjusted to the losses of the particular adventure
Yet all Expeditions drop Loot that all have chances to get grainte, I was getting 400 granite from medium expeditions but only 200 granite in Black knight on test.
These expeditions are BBs way of getting rid of regular adventures, because no one will run them with the odd exception of adventures that have rare drops.
BB needs to give us actual new loot tables, and perhaps an actual simulator since the best one out there that was player made is gone.
Zeus Artillerist {Gnomelot}
Ares AAtillerist {Weeble Nation}
Test server is for checking out the ideas, not to reveal what actually goes on-line. I bet BB is having a lot of fun, if they got time to read all this ranting.
I will save my judging until I have seen what actually goes on, when the changes reach the live servers.
They really should have epic buildings add a buff to all surrounding buildings and add more things like the merchant statue and angel gate.
Gives people even more reason to love them and actually feel rewarded for placing them.
