The training expedition isn't hard, just takes a little thought that's all.
Part of the fun is not having your hand held, give it another shot read what each troop does think things through and experiment. You will be fine. Taking colonies is easy and fun.
@Raub jeez ouch to the Invasion of the Nords that IS a real jerk move since they were only purchasable with gems. I agree you should get a refund for good customer service IF you used gems to buy them.
Been waiting for almost three years for PvP. Many, many good players have left because you kept stalling on your promise for a PvP aspect of the game but I stuck around. I had hope that given all this time, your development team would come up with a great feature. Unfortunately, you have not. This lame attempt at PvP is a real FUBAR part of the game. I suppose your hope was that people will buy more gems. That will not happen now. Not with the piece of junk you rolled out. I have tried it and it is not worth the time, effort and resources I am spending. If I were you, I would take it out of the game, listen to the players and rework PvP into something they want and that is enjoyable (And don't take another year to do it.) Also, I have a lot of the Nords2 adventures. Terrible idea to take away frozen manor from the rewards. All those gems I spent....down the drain. (One of the main reasons I ran this adventure was to get the FM.)
I wonder if BB is even reading this. Testers warned them about how badly those changes are going to be received by players, repeatedly warned BB about the impact of the changes to loot and about the cost vs reward ratio on pvp expeditions. Deaf ears. It seems BB lost the concept this is a business not some card game played by buddies. We understand BB needs gem sales. Unfortunately, the devs own actions are pushing people into NOT buying anymore.
Since most of the dev team is way younger than me here is a tip: You kids need to grow up and take this seriously because you are playing with fire (your own jobs). In case you don't care anymore about this game in the spring of the new one coming, if you burn people in the old one most will not bother even checking the new one. Read some statistics on how game companies suffer from bad rep. People do not like being cheated of their money and they remember who pissed them off.
When I started playing the game most of players prized your game for being free, fun with option to spend money. Check your forums and chat for sentiment now. You have pissed off A LOT of your customers (or potential customers) over last few months. The consequences are coming for yah.
Get your head in the game, start answering questions and easing up on the "screw you players we are gonna do what we like" attitude. It doesn't matter what you want. It matters what your customers like and how you go about it.

i'm really ticked now. you changed the loot of Invasion of the nords and instead of either an arctic mine, arctic manor or two snow i got a lousy useless ornament!!!! And I had to pay 1500 gems for that. Get a grip this is rediculous. you owe me an artic manor or 2 snow.
This type of thing is VERY VERY true and should generate hate. It is ugly and mean to have an adventure that is the only way of getting FM and then to sweep them out from people who spend gems (lifeblood of the game). It is also plain stupid to remove the only real item in the shop that would encourage people to actually use gems who already have mature islands but need more pop. I would have thought this was a fairly large revenue stream for BB compared to other gem items.Originally Posted by emmo

No guides! This is pvp keep all advantages to yourself share with nobody! You never know if its going to be your colony they steal. Not a chance i'm helping someone punk my 66 granite per 6 hrs.... it would break my spirit...
