...First of all you have no idea what my population is....Second - I have "worked through" 6000 troops today - just to keep ending up with the same dilemma - 4000 more have to go to hit the target. -Make troops - the target goes up - kill them off the target goes back down. You end up in the same place. What am I supposed to be - Sisyphus? - With the "reset" if you woke up with (a) large populations (b) low on recruits because of heavy adventuring and (c) with only elite troops (who are dependent upon the recently removed and now expensive upper end weapons; or were built for PvP in large quantities for expeditions) left to reduce to hit the newly -established military target as part of the "fix" target - you are being asked to sacrifice these troops as the game's solution to their action.
That is the only conclusion I can draw today - after killing off 4k troops and having mad NO PROGRESS to the stated "fix."
Yes - If I had woken up with 12k recruits - I could have "worked through" them and reset the population - supposedly.
But in these circumstances - whether it is an unintended consequence or not - the outcome is forced consumption of expensive elite commodities to fix a game glitch.
The majority of you complain about this all the time in the forum! How would anyone not be worked up by being asked to kill of 1000 cavalry 1000 elites 600 cannon 600 xbows 500 soldiers and/or 2000 PvP troops to reset a game flaw. Sheesh...
