Don't start the Xmas adventure BEFORE you get the quest to do it

Yep, I opened first door and yey! got the adventure, started it up and.. 2 min later I got the quest to start the adventure. Guess what. I already started it so the quest is no updating and 20 presents are just sitting there:P I hope the next one will do it. Still, since I don't know if there is a chain reward for each adventure "started" not sure if I will be missing something down the road.

Stupid little crap that makes you feel like an idiot because you did something not in the perfect order. BB sigh..

Easy fix apparently. After you complete the first Xmas adventure and still have the quest open to start it, just start another adventure (regular one). It will complete the quest. I did it with IOTP, but in trade chat people say it also worked with co-op and Outlaws. Probably works with any advies.

Yes! the quest to start the Xmas advie did get completed by starting IOTP (after I started the Xmas adv before got the quest).

And now I get new quest to... complete the Xmas advie... which I already did..sigh..

So here it is the proper order of doing this:

1 Wait for the quest to start the Xmas adventure (don't just start it when you open the first door - follow the quest line till you get the quest to start the advie)

2 Start the adventure

3 Wait for the next quest telling you to make at least 1 pony and 1 art buff in your provision house

4 Once you make those and complete the quest new quest will pop - to finish the Xmas adventure.

5 Then you can complete the advie and get the reward presents for it.

The cool part here, in step 2 - you don't actually have to start the adventure. Just click the green check-mark button, and cancel from the confirmation prompt. The quest completed for me while I was looking at the confirmation prompt. Just for giggles, I clicked cancel, accepted the completed quest prize, and then the next quest popped up, to make the provision house items. Guess the good times stop on step 5, when I actually have to finish the adventure that hasn't started. Hmmmm....

i got the quest to start -- -so i did ... and completed... 5 hrs later i got the quest to complete it... and thats not completing... pretty dumb i have to wait to make the ponies and the art (and btw i had 30 of THEM done when that quest popped and that didnt count either).

It did for the RB I was just in
