Way of the Ostrich vs. Bugged Adventuring

Something weird is going on with adventuring currently. My two key assumption:
A1) Things are fine on the BB servers.
A2) Flash visualization (what you see in your browser) is screwed.
Mind you, I could be wrong.

This would explain some of the issues going on on adventure islands, and provide the means of consistent though limited adventuring.

Some of the consequences of A2: if you see a general marching one way he might be actually going in the opposite direction; if you see a general has returned to his tent, he might still be marching; if you see a message "You general has been intercepted" it does not necessarily mean he has; the only thing you can trust are the battle reports.

Good news is that under assumptions A1 and A2, there is a way to overcome the "wrong troop composition" problem.
    1. Assign the troops, go back to your home island (without initiating the attack).
    2. Come back and check whether the troops are as expected.
    3. If not repeat steps 1, 2, as needed.
    4. Once the troops are correct, do it one more time (just in case), and finally launch the attack.
    5. Go to your home island; the only(!) thing that can be trusted are battle logs.
    6. Once you get your battle report, wait for the roughly the same amount of time elapsed since step 5. That way you will minimize the # of loops in 1-3 next time.

That way you won't assign to the general that's still marching (which I think is the cause of the issue), thus avoiding sending off attacks with the wrong troop composition.

Sounds like a big pain in the rear. This is a "fun" game??

    Hi Loucaux,
From what I know the issue with the generals is only graphical, so it is A2.

    And you're right about that:

I think the key word here is "might".

Most of my tags have simply attacked over and over for as long as 10 minutes.

If the issues are only graphical, then why do gens that are sent with a full load of troops end up attacking with troops leftover from previous battle?
