Missing Notices

Today I logged in and got no notices at all. No returns of explorer, no geologist searching, nothing that would appear in the top-left next to my portrait or on the news channel.

Reloading the game should reset the chat and the notifications.

The issue you're describing is easy to reproduce: open your Star Menu / Merchant while the game is still loading some assets.
If you wait until the game is totally loaded, the news tab should work fine.
