Bug with Colony Achievement - "Titanic harvest"

I suspect that the Achievement "Titanic harvest" might be expecting us to get titanium (bars) from a colony instead of titanium ore. I had submitted a ticket regarding this (Ticket#US-2014121912000055), and received a response stating that achievements are broken. I tried responding back with more detailed informaion but got another response stating that the ticket had been closed and deemed resolved. I take this to mean that my ticket was closed because it was deemed a duplicate of another ticket or simply part of a larger known issue. I'm just trying to help the developers by providing more information about a very specific bug that I believe would be a relatively simple fix. But alas, my email has fallen on deaf ears. ** sigh **
It is so cruel to dangle an Achievement in front of me without the ability to achieve it. How will I be able to sleep tonight? It is taking a toll on my mental and physical well being.

Nobody has closed your ticket, they are automatically closed after a set period of time.

Please post your suggestion here and I will make sure to add this information to the bug report.

Here is the situation:
I have conquered granite, gold ore and exotic wood colonies and received credit for those gains in the corresponding achievements. I have conquered 4 titanium ore colonies and have not received any credit for receiving the titanium ore. The first of the four titanium colonies was a regular colony and was taken from me before I was able to Gather Resources. The second one was a regular colony that I held for the entire week and received enough titanium ore to have completed the achievement. The last two are a small and a large colony that I currently own and I have been receiving titanium ore from them. The "Titanic harvest" achievement, however, still shows 0/1000. Based on the description to "Gain 1000 Titanium from colony yields", I suspect that it is calculating the amout of Titanium that I have gained instead of Titanium Ore.
