Early ending of Christmas Event

Was it me or did the Christmas event ended one day earlier?

I open the door for the last Christmas adventure, started it and created the items, logged off and the next day was unable to log on because of maintenance. When I finally logged on, the event is over.

I remember there is one more door after the adventure one which I had totally no chance to open at all. Now I can't complete the adventure as well because the event items are removed.
