Are there adventures that have a bigger return? I suspect not, because I can't even find any in the Trade Office.

I was trading christmas collectibles for cauldrons.
Offer 1-2 resource or coin trades daily and you should be able to get more than you need after a few days.
A large number of players may have at least, 5-10 cauldrons, consider that when post an offer.
I ran a lost skulls and got a cauldron. Then I ran a BK and didn't. I guess just try running different adventures until you get it?

Thanks for the tip. However, since cauldrons are an essential collectible for the likes of "Potion of Endless Energy", "Golden Ribbon", and "Small Glue" (my favorite), I would expect them to be a bit more available. Out of 13 adventures, I would have expected more than 2 cauldrons. They are, by far, the rarest of the collectibles.

I think the cauldrons are coded to go with granite. Almost every time I get cauldrons, the loot is granite. I frown when I see adamantium ore in the mail because it usually means no granite imho. Only BB would know.
I agree that the quantity of cauldrons is so too low.
The cauldrons are not the easiest items to acquire but it is possible. I could sell you 50, if that helps.
If anyone wants to sell me more, just send mail.
I also don't care for adamantium, but at least you're getting some collectible with your adv's. I'm not even getting that. I'm asking, are there some adv's that a more productive? Per Faykiller, I may try a few RB's.
I haven't really noticed the quantity of cauldrons or ratio of cauldrons to adamantium changing lately. RB and BK seem to drop more cauldrons than most, although I may or may not take the time to look for them, depending on my mood. Of course, adamantium is just easier to see on the maps anyway, particularly on RB, so I suspect that more cauldrons get missed than adamantium. I do agree that it would be nice to see a ramp up in the number of cauldrons available with the advent of the new glue buff from the Christmas event. However, I have never run out and needed to buy extra, which is saying something considering the number of golden ribbon buffs I make on a regular basis.
I don't make the glue buffs often, but I still have something like 1.5k in the storehouse, so I don't anticipate running out anytime soon.
It's totally random. You can play the same map again and again and get anywhere from 0 drops to 5 total cauldrons/ores.
