Hello everyone,

I can understand that some of these changes can be frustrating at first sight. New and old eggs, new and old shop categories, new and old players ...

This is the first time we allow players to buy items from a previous event, we are doing this because we are introducing a new resource and we do not want the old eggs to just become worthless, this is why the shop category from the previous Easter event will be available. This should be seen as a perk, because if we had not changed the resources, nobody would be able to purchase anything from last year.
The next issue is what to do with your old eggs, if you have already purchased everything from last year? You can trade them, I've seen a few trades at very interesting prices.
If you had tons of old eggs, it means you were not using these eggs, and most likely you are a high level player with resources, so it should not be a problem to get enough new eggs for the new items.
New players will still be able to enjoy the event, as they will have access to the new shop category and be able to buy any of the old eggs other players decide to sell.

this is the way all events should be..... a race to get stuff!!! what's the fun in buying the resources after an event and getting it next time? ppl just need to see it as a race

I think we can all see why newer players are frustrated... hoarders hold the key to their success of gaining the items from last year meaning they can't "work" for the items by doing searches and adventuring like they could in previous events. I don't see anyone asking for things to be handed to them but if they are forced to buy old eggs from others then there is a good chance they will not be able to afford it. I feel they should be able to buy from the old shop with the new stripy eggs since that is the only resource they will be able to "work" for meaning they would have to work doubly hard to buy from both shops. As things look now, the event will serve to make the already rich richer and the poor poorer. I would prefer to see all have a good time.

I want to get the extra veteran generals from the previous Easters I missed or was too low to get. Also, I should be able to buy all the village schools that I did not get because of the minimal value before they fixed them to be useful. I think I missed the first Halloween on the server, so should also be sent the extra Grim Reaper General from that event, as well as all the permanent premium buildings from that event also. Since I don't have the event currency for those events, I also want Blue Byte to give all of it to me for free. Maybe they could also send me the gems that I missed out on not having logged in every day before I started playing the game. Of course, they should also include all of the resources from the other 6 days of those weekly gift cycles I missed.

The return of the old egg shop is not really intended for new players at all. While I do not support hoarding the event resources, which does make it harder for less advanced players, the people who possess the eggs from previous years got them from either playing the events or buying them from people playing the events. I do not have a significant number of event currency, mostly because I used it to help players get the important items from the event before the event ended.

Of course, one thing people do not seem to be looking at is that the people who are hoarding eggs are likely the same people who were able to buy everything from the previous gem stores. So, aside from the limitless minor items, there is not much to use the eggs on. As the end of the next event comes to a close, the value of the older eggs will be equal to its conversion to gold in the provision house, making it more of a buyer's market.

And for people who feel they need to quit the game because they did not get stuff they were not in game to get, I hope you can find a game where this is not the case. Please feel free to let us know if you find one, but please don't come back to tell us you have still quit the game. Just like the previous events, you should only be able to quit once, and there should be no extra sympathy based on the number of times you have announced you have left. Please feel free to send me your stuff, as I will be happy to pass it along to new players starting the game, to help offset their disadvantage when starting out.

This is not true. I had pumpkins from last year that I could use this one, same for Xmas presents. Grim general was available last year as it was year before, same for recyclers and quite few other things in event shop. So, claims that BB never let people "go back" and purchase things from previous events are not true. They simply put the same offers as last year in the shop.

Creating elitist groups of players by designing event shop NOT allowing new players to purchase stuff because they were not playing last year? What sense does that make? Those who hoarded old eggs already have everything that this shop offers. Last year players had a chance of purchasing the best general in game for even resources. This year this chance is not only taken away from new players who were all looking forward to it, no that's not enough. Newbies also have to watch BB putting what they really would like in shop for a resource that they don't have and most likely (because of prices of old eggs) will not be able to obtain.

I don't care what elitist perspective you use to justify this. BB just gave a finger to all newbies who are actually the only people who would even consider purchasing gems. Way to go.

yeah.. those items were in the shop the year after but the the limit was still the same every year- if you didnt get the grim the year before the next year you could not get two. but nice try...

Hi, I quit the game a few days ago but im still here commenting in forums and demanding things to be changed, but yea, i quit. - That sounds like it would be a good meme

I am sorry but how do you feel a New Player will be able to buy the old eggs they need to get the MMA and Experienced Explorer they missed last year with the insane prices old eggs are going for?

It's not going to happen, period.

I been playing about a year and I have almost 70k coin and I can not afford to buy 3300 eggs I need to get those items. 70k is only going to get me if I spent every dime I have maybe 1000 eggs, well short of what I need. If I could even get 1 egg per 70c.

So as they say in The Shark Tank "I'M OUT"

New players could always buy MMA and explorers with gems if paying in pixels is too hard....
