i think its so unfair you have changed your mind about the old Easter eggs you said
Can I use my old Easter eggs?
Two shop categories will provide the chance to grab special items for old & Stripy Easter eggs.
This year will be the last chance to spent old (dotted) Easter eggs!


What happens to my old Easter eggs?
They can be spent for 2014's event items.
The shop from 2014's event will be available during this year's event.
Some of the old items can be obtained with the old Easter eggs OR Stripy eggs.

4 years, and I have seen both sides of things, this time YOU ARE WRONG. to tell us one thing then wait before changing your minds, that does not work in a game like this. Are you now trying to drive all the older long time players away, if so you are sure going about it the right way.
The first of the year would have been the time to announce changes, for next year and give us this year to work with what we have. As a guild leader I save all the unused event items from all the members to be used next year to help new members or those who didn't have a chance to get what they needed. Now you are making all that futile. Give us a chance to make the change. Don't ruin it and the game.
I don't know how you look at your profit margins, but you should rethink a few things.
I like this game and most of the changes being made, but this change was not well thought out.

I tried test server and actually I like the whole event.

Wow I don't believe while playing this game I have ever lost so much value in having things in stock. So by invalidating all of the past event items are you going to offer a gold coin equivalent to make up the value we have lost in items that are now basically a quarter of their value or are there going to be unique items available to purchase with our old event items that were not available before?

The Sneak Peeks are previews of upcoming features, and contain information about features and events that are not yet in their final state.

Sneak peeks provide brief information about an upcoming game version and may not reflect the final status of the content. After the game version is finalized, a corresponding developer's diary will be published.

We post them to give you a chance to know what we are working on, and to give us feedback. I talk to many of you in-game, and the majority said that we should listen to our player base and the feedback you leave on the forums.
Yes, we have made some changes to what we had originally announced: we listened to you. The MMA will be available for purchase with the new eggs, and we gave you a heads up about what will happen to previous event resources, which you will be able to spend this summer.

Again, and I cannot emphasize this enough, until the information is in the Dev's Diary, the actual contents and features are subject to changes.

I like people that keep their word. I based over a weeks worth of playing this game on the word that old eggs would be able to be used for old event items. I sold and bartered for old eggs so I could use them in the next Easter Event. And now you go back on your word. 350k coin worth of eggs are now useless in this upcoming event. Poor play. Went back on your word. I am disappointed to say the least.

I understand that Endesmor. And I think most players do as well. We know things are subject to change and that their is a risk involved in planning based on the sneak peaks, dev diaries, and announcements. The fact still remains that all of the old egg trading and bartering was based on the announcement that there would be no vet or mma in the new market but that there would be mma and vet available in the old egg market. Every announcement and decision you guys make has an effect on the Settlers trade market. All of the money spent by these players on all servers in order to be able to obtain their mma was based on the previous announcement. Making the MMA available in the new market is very good for most players and a good decision. But nothing positive comes out of removing the old egg market from the merchant. It just hurts those who were already working toward it. Why not leave the old market as it is but allow the mma to be purchased for new eggs as well. Limits can stay the same. Nobody is negatively effected.

I can understand that some of these changes can be frustrating at first sight. New and old eggs, new and old shop categories, new and old players ...

This is the first time we allow players to buy items from a previous event, we are doing this because we are introducing a new resource and we do not want the old eggs to just become worthless, this is why the shop category from the previous Easter event will be available. This should be seen as a perk, because if we had not changed the resources, nobody would be able to purchase anything from last year.
The next issue is what to do with your old eggs, if you have already purchased everything from last year? You can trade them, I've seen a few trades at very interesting prices.
If you had tons of old eggs, it means you were not using these eggs, and most likely you are a high level player with resources, so it should not be a problem to get enough new eggs for the new items.
New players will still be able to enjoy the event, as they will have access to the new shop category and be able to buy any of the old eggs other players decide to sell.

Why not just reset the event items that have limits? If I passed on certain items during the other events, I did so with the idea that my resources would still be used in the upcoming event and I would be able to buy the big ticket items that I want. If you are going to re-open the old event market, give those of us who saved our resources a chance to use them.
