Thank You BB for giving new players who were not playing last Easter a chance to get the best general in game. I don't give a crap about what older players are entitled to. Sit in circle near campfire and talk about how hard it was at the beginning without MMA, premiums, or multiply sliders and such. I will join you and we can even make "The Old School TSO" club.

And at the same time I will smack your entitled ego hard anytime you will raise hell on forums about what you think newbies shouldn't have because they didn't know the game last year. Let me help you pass the elitist prick attitude toward newbies. Do you know what happens to the server when they stop playing? How many of you moved from Zeus to Ares?

Mounting obstacles toward new players and creating atmosphere of "us vs them" is the surest way to make the entire game looking like Zeus. And where would you re-roll when that happens?

I see that one of my posts has been removed. What, scared of someone throwing out the thought of a worldwide settlers boycott on new gem purchases? Hmm perhaps this is the real way to get the developers to honor what they said was going to be...... by going after there pocket book.

Or, perhaps this is more to your liking.. just refund me, and the others what we invested in getting old eggs and we can call it square. You have my account information, you can see what I have spent, and just return it, and I will sit down and shut up. Until then, I am owed what was said. No more, no less. Period.

The Powers That Be should gift everyone an extra MMA, 10 frozen manors, and a gem pit to stifle all this confusion, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. With this small token of appreciation, we would know you really cared...

No need for that, just for the developers to honor what they have said would happen. I expect nothing for free.

I agree, it is messed up. I am very disappointed with BB- Instead of thinking- o wow some players have tons of event items they are HOARDing because we dont put anything useful in event shop- O maybe we should put something useful that people will spend all their event items on- But its more like- lets get rid of this item that has been here for 3 years because we cant come up with an item(s) to put in event shop to make people spend mass amounts of event items on them (which would increase gem sales). It is really aggravating, part of my game and many others is to HOARD and prepare for the future, and now we are all getting screwed. Just when you thought this game hit an all time low, it just keeps getting lower.

I'm very happy that more new players will now be able to obtain their MMA. That is positive for the game and I think we need to keep that tradition of being able to obtain one good gen with event items around. The legendary vet doesn't count as a good gen in any way.

But while I'm happy that the developers are paying attention to the feedback this is very far from an ideal solution. I'm aware that the events stay subject to change but the original dev diaries and announcements about the old eggs is what has caused the skyrocketing old egg prices and the rush for new players to obtain old eggs so they can get the MMA. You now have thousands of people who have spent tons of coin and resources already to obtain old eggs and be able to get a mma without spending gems. I know several people on Ares that already spent over 200-300k coin to get their eggs. They were working hard and preparing ahead of time as most good players do. Now they will be punished for this. I don't understand the point or positives of completely getting rid of the old egg market now.

Introduce the MMA into the new market for Stripy Eggs. This will allow new players to obtain them. But keep the old egg market around just as planned so those who already wasted all their resources don't get totally screwed. Easily done. Everyone benefits. Bottom line is not negatively effected.

Lots of pissed off people out there.

SO, old eggs shop - so loudly advertised - just dissapeared as sudden death? Thats not the way to act in my opinion. Make whatever you want with new eggs category, but such sudden and lest say harsh move - no way for this game and for a players here.
SOme and many of us just bought many dotted eggs exactly for this one feature - and now what - we must just take a word- ( who will quarantee that it will not suddently CHANGED again) - about some further summer event and so. What to do with a planning in this game , which as a option just was killed with this move.
I think game team must think about changing back this two shop feature - no need to make some players look as a fools here.

We can only hope for a change back but don't hold your breath.

Very uncool bud. Some of us new players (me = 6months) where MISLEAD into thinking this was a sure fire way to get a MMA and Vet. I spent/sold/swindled WAY over 200,000gc in coin, grout, granite, beans, xmas frozen manor, ANYthing nailed down, etc .... to get the 4000 old eggs for the MMA and VET. This comprises my entire 6 months of game play. GONE. WIPED. POOF!!. DISINTEGRATED. GAME OVER MAN. I am now broke . Did i waste all my money and time? Summer is coming but does that really get me anything? will i get my 200000gc + investment back? Only my bright goddess Endesmor knows .....

I do not think that older players being upset had to do about BB making it easier for new players or anything like that- more so that in any game there needs to be certain benefits for older players than newer players (if there wasn't there really would be no reason for any player to stick around long-term wise).

and for players who left zeus for ares, there is a reason why they left- but for most it is because they wanted to start new where no one knows them, and now your stuck with them until people get to know them and then they will leave and either go to a different server or different game. and most of those players did not even really play this game, just started/caused drama in global-1 and in forum.

I have taken many new players under my wing and shown them how they can easily progress in this game- it seems like the only person with the "us vs them" attitude is you......

I did the same 6 months in last year. I was pretty much broke until the end of the summer event, but MMA and Vet are so worth it. Though I could see where this would be a hardship for a new player, compared with someone who merely opted to pass last year.

I imagine a compromise is forthcoming. One with old eggs if not purchased before, one with new, something like that. Then everybody is happy. Except for those who aren't.

I have to admit, i sold about 9k eggs or so for 20-25granite per and now that easter shop has changed I do feel bad about selling my eggs. The prices eggs were going for may have seemed ridiculous to some but for people who know a lot about trade and item values in this game, comparing gem prices of unlimited items which are around 25gc per with gem prices of limited items- gems for limited items are worth x2 more- so then when you calced in the difference of the total value (in gc) of MMA cost in the easter shop to the cost of MMA in gem shop, each egg would be worth around 150gc per. Now..... there were some players who have been playing a long time but missed last easter event who did know this and were paying those prices because they knew it would be well worth it. But now all of those players and any player who bought eggs for the MMA are S.O.O.L- only thing you can do is just hope that when summer comes we will be able to trade them in for very very good items at good rates.....
