Omniseeds + granite pit issue

I bought a granite pit + 1x omniseed and ended up with a deposit of 3250. SO far so good and happy

Now someone gave me 4x omniseeds and I added those too but ended up with only 3254!!! Oo
Shouldn't it have been 4x250 =1k....not 4 =(

Please let me know if its a bug or is there a limit to how much omniseeds can be added on a granite pit?
