Explorers returning from search WAAAY too early..

My lucky explorers all returned with artifacts.

My 13 other explorers returned at the same time. No treasure. I sent them on searches. Clicked refresh. They were all back. They keep returning and returning and returning and returning and returning. I'm being spammed with messages multiple times per minute per explorer telling me they have returned. Still no treasure. And they still won't go away. I wonder what happens when I click refresh again. Oh. They return again. What happens if I try in IE? Oh, hello again my treasureless friends. And again and again and again. I'll do some basic maintenance, but I'll mostly have to take the night off because these messages are a nuisance.

Sending one of them on a short treasure search seems to have resolved my woes. None of them are of any value, but at least they don't keep coming back until I load my island again.

So I figured it out. All of these explorers who keep coming back... they're not really back yet. Once they really come back for real, they begin cooperating. While they're still on the search, they play with my head.

when u send the treasure hunter out they actually use the sausages and gold... took me several times to realize this... now i need to buy sausages... but i have no gold... i can always sell the stuff my explorer brought back.. oh wait... sigh...

I sent my Lucky Explorer on a short search, hoping he'd bring back one of these new "scenario" adventures, so I could check it out. I didn't see the rewards listed in the Dev's Diary release about it.

Anyway, my explorer is now "stuck" in that search. His progress bar is empty, and the time remaining steps from -1 seconds to -59 seconds and then goes back to -1.
I logged out and back in, that didn't help. So I emptied the browser cache, and now I'm going through the long process of loading the game, something I really dread doing more than once per login, since I play from libraries that have virtual environments, so nothing is ever cached when you log into their system.

Edit: And clearing the browser cache and restarting did not help. My Explorer is stuck

Hopefully fixed tomorrow. The fix: remove the dreaded bonus week. Although despite the bugginess, I've actually quite liked this one. I've managed to get in some extra searches, and I'm liking how fast my jolly geologist is moving.

Well, my explorer finally came back with map fragments. Now I'm scared to do adventure searches until this bug is fixed completely. I read somewhere in that thread you posted that some explorers are just going back out on their own without human intervention, charging the player sausage and gold for the possibly unwanted trip.

Glad to know I'm not the only one having problems. My explores were sent out yesterday and should have been back hours ago but none have returned. I guess they're lost until further notice. ^-^

Okay, my explores are back and are behaving normally. Now my geologist is acting up. It finds the same deposit every 30secs.

Some of my explorers are fine, but 3 of them are returning every minute even without sending them out.

So then he did find the mine. Then I tried to build it. Then he found it again. Not sure if I used the resources building it. Maybe if I just wait 20 minutes, he will behave.

Okay I had to send the 3 out for a different choice then I normally would, and they seem to be okay.
