So I will get a 3rd MMA, and next year a 4th, and in 2017 a 5th....and what's the point ?
Event looks pretty good for relatively new players. Boring as hell for old players.

can DEV solve the arctic mine upgrade issue before the event starts?

It would be nice if they made these upgradeable. It somewhat kills the value of an arctic iron mine if you can't upgrade it to the regular one, plus I'm sure a lot of people have them loaded with iron ore. Hope this isn't a trend with all special buildings.

What is the logic behind this? I'd gladly pay all the tools in addition to the grout to bring it up to level 6.

yeah, arctic mines are pretty **** useless now, especially if you have plenty of BLs.

arctic iron mine is a level 5 iron mine, so guess an upgrade would make it level 10 iron mine, so doubt arctic will be upgradable

The inability to save the stripy eggs is going to be a big disadvantage for a more casual player. That said, I do like the idea not being able to hoard. Given the sheer amount of stuff to buy, I hope the drop rates for this are really liberal.
