General and Troops missing upon arrival on adv island

I sent 5 general, 200 troops each. Only 4 generals arrived.
The fifth one returned to my island at the return spot, empty.
I lost 200 recruits before I even started fighting.
I logged off & on to see if they would come back, but no luck.
Has this happened to anyone else?

I've not seen that happen. Which adventure was it?

Island of the pirates. I'm thinking because the landing zone only has room for 4 generals, maybe that's why it happened.

Did you check your star menu? Generals will unload and go there if there's no landing space.

It happened again. 2 generals missing, not on home island, not on star menu, not on Island of the pirates.
