Easter achievements tied to expeditions?

220 points of the achievements are tied to expeditions. Not sure if this matters as I don't think you need to get all of the points to max out the pop on the Easter basket. Just find it funny, after the horrible feedback PvP has received by the players, that BB would even bother. The PvP system is a failure BB, get over it, fix it, and come out with PvP 2.0. Stop trying to goad us poor users into actually using the current system.

Someone pointed out the potential problem in another thread. The random, sometimes repeating, quest line with the final one being very short may mean that the basket cannot be fully upgraded without expeditions.

PvP stinks and many are not playing that part of the game. It's practically undoable.
If it's part of the Easter house upgrade requirement, then that stinks too.

For what it's worth, you can get to level 6 without doing PvP. You just have to get EVERY other achievement.

It is possible to upgrade the Easter Basket to level 6 without completing any PvP achievement.

Correct. You can get level 6 without PVP. If you get every other achievement. This assumes that you are able to complete every Easter quest, and the game may make it impossible to do that as it did last year and the year before. The quests are random, so you may get the same one twice, not get one of them at all, and have a short window of time to complete the fourth regardless.

I'll throw out there that I never tried PvP until last night, because I figure I have to to get that level 6 egg basket.

Surprisingly I found that I really enjoyed the PvP mechanic, and wish I could do more of it.

As others have said many times, the problem is the cost. I've got a pretty nice iron chain set up, and I can barely afford to make the weapons for one small colony attempt in a day. Leaving aside that the cost of the weapons is completely out of whack with the potential rewards, it just takes too long to make those weapons in order to enjoy PvP on a more regular basis. If I can run one or two whole fairy tales solo a day and recover those troops a day or two later, it seems crazy that I can't produce the weapons for 300 pvp troops a lot faster.

I'll probably manage to get a couple pvp achievement levels to get that lvl 6 thing taken care of...but I don't see how anyone under level 50 without a somewhat ridiculous iron chain set up (or tons of coin) is going to have a chance.
