    I think a petition is whats needed. Not just a simple one line 'please do this' but to show that it affects a great deal of the population. Maybe show that more than a single user is affected by this change in a very negative way.

    Also might help prevent them from thinking about slapping it in the gem shop for 150 gems.

    Hello,

    What is really important is constructive criticism. I compile and forward the majority of what is being said in the forums to the developers. I give them numbers, your suggestions and thoughts, etc. Please keep in mind that we not only have our road map for specific features, but this is an international community. Players from other countries, younger/older instances might have a different point of view.

    Petitions are not useful because there is no discussion between players. Someone posts a petition, and after a week there are a bunch of "+1" and ... that's it. Petitions are also against the Code of Conduct.

    Agreed. Never should have been removed. Honestly, all advs, except follow-ups, should be available to be bought with gems and most should be able to be bought with guild coins or map frags.

    edit: forgot map frags (doooh)

    whats more troublesome is how they (last year) added option to produce our own map frags, and THEN started removing key adv from the merchant.

    Seems the trend, keep seeing it: Provide players with new ways to obtain things, then swiftly yank out the items they wanted via the 'new way'

    All seem to point toward 'paying more gems' in all cases(Sometimes the act of paying gems is the 'new way' which quickly becomes much less valued once the REASON the players would pay to obtain the 'new way' is removed, AFTER the players buy it)

    Its underhanded, and like many other things(Points to eggs, explorers, pvp, etc) boarderline 'scamming'

    Yes yes yes please return IOTP to the market for frags. I get that adv at least once a week as either a daily or a guild quest (as do many others). It seems unjust to me that they make it mandatory to do but do not make the adventure available. Thank you for starting this petition. Consider it signed.

    YUP. Any currency (other than gems) is fine, but it has to be available in merchant, or yank it from the Guild Quests!

    Personally, I am enjoying IOTP right now. It is relatively simple to run, has two slots for expert level materials that are fairly appropriate for the level of difficulty, and has the potential to drop up to 150 eggs (225 on premium). That it is part of the guild quest requirements should mean that the adventure be more available than it is now, with a just under 4% return on short adventure searches.

    However, the key point for its removal is the relatively simple to run. At the higher tiers, the adventure can literally be run in 3 attacks, with losses less than 400 recruits. If a person has more than one MMA, they can be run at nearly twice an hour, so the only other limit is the production of recruits. Due to this massive imbalance that occurs at higher level play, it is difficult to recommend simply returning the adventure to the store as before without adding some other elements to balance the adventure. People would likely be more upset if they added a diminishing returns element to the adventures, although this type of adjustment is very common in other games.

    just had a quest to do IOTP. it should be made available other than thru random searches.

    This could be easily countered by adding shop limits, similar to star coins stuff. Let's say you will be allowed to buy one IotP every other day, or even just 1 per week, which should be enough for all quests.
