Does the Arctic Iron Mine disappear if it runs out? I know it used to but someone told me that it goes back to the star menu now. I also note that its not in the description and I thought it was before.

Yes, once it runs out the Arctic mine is gone for good. The trick is to not let them run out.
It does. It also disappears if you delete it. It won't go back to your star menu. You can sleep it until you have deposits.
