A Horse of a Different Color

With all of the various generals, it would be nice to have each type of gen have a unique color for their horse. For example, black for the Reaper, gold for the MMA, etc. When sending several generals out to attack and block (yes I used the B-word, we all know it, most of us love it and we know that we do it and use it at our own risks) and/or when running co-op adventures it would make my adorable little toes curl if I could easily identify which type of gen is parading around out there doing that crazily precise, and mighty fine, dressage that they do.

Also, while on the topic of the generals' horses -- how about a poke-the-horse-in-the-patoot buff that would make those generals hustle a little bit across some of those long distances that they mooooooooo-oh-sey so slowly? (OK just kidding, sort of).

Having the "blow-up-the-rocks-guys" as a rare loot drop could also be nice.

Love the idea!! Actually a different graphic for each of the types of general in addition to different colored horses would be pretty cool too. And in the spirit of Heroes IV, Big Helmet could ride a zebra =-)

I love the idea. I have this problem all of the time also. Seems we have 4 or 5 suggestions for generals in the forum right now. Lets make them all happen!

A Skill Tree for the Generals has been discussed in past threads.

Adding factors to improve the performance of the horse could be part of the Skill Tree.

I like complicated things, to expand the idea a bit, the Stables could be modified somehow to train several types of horses. The standard horse we have now, a mid grade battle horse and a high grade war horse. This would bring 2 new trade items into the Trade Office and possibly help players who make a lot of horses.

If your General is defeated, the horse does not recover and it defaults back to the standard horse.
