    Lightbulb Streamlined Star to Storage

From the Star menu interface, it takes 6 actions to move something from star menu to the mayor house. You need to move the star, open it, move to the item you want to put in storage, click and hold on the item, move the cursor to the mayor house, and release it. Even on the simplest case, where the item you wish to move is visible when you open the star, it still becomes very repetitive to move multiple items from star into storage. While the direct to storage from mail has helped some of this, it still remains a problem at times.

One obvious solution to this is change the interface to add a house symbol opposite the 'x' that is already on the icon. By clicking on the house, it would automatically move the item into storage, allowing for essentially one click transfer once the star menu is open. By not closing the star when using the function, it becomes very simple to move multiple items in series.

And a big thank you to the BB customer service team for inspiring this idea.

+1 <---- picture this in the biggest font possible with 48392843438 exclamation points after it. I would even cut my hair in a pixie cut for this feature.

Why isn't the star menu pinnable?

I'm beginning to realize just how crazy it is to have one menu pinnable that you can only pull three items out of (the build menu)..

    Open build menu (1 click)
    click pin (1 click)
click on building.. click on map (2 clicks)
click on building .. Click on map (2 clicks)
click on building .. click on map (2 clicks)
    close building menu (1 click)

    That's a total of 9 clicks
If I just ignore the pin button, its

open build menu click on building click on map (3 click)
open build menu click on building click on map (3 click)
open build menu click on building click on map (3 click)

    That's a total of 9 clicks... what???

Yes, the pin button on the building menu is functionally useless for the vast majority of your players (the marginal exception being those players with maxed out building queue).

Now if instead, you added the pin button to the STAR menu, it'd be a whole different proposition.
6 plus explorers, hordes of geologists, 100+ 1 off sammy sandwich buffs from artifact searches... The click savings would be enormous!!

ROFL! Subconsciously, that must be why I never used the pin function!!! Looking at the equation there, you actually would use more clicks if you only had 2 buildings to use the pin function! ^_^ And not until you hit 4 buildings do you start to see a yield... which is as already pointed out, more than most players have queue slots.

Makes you wonder, though: Somebody thought up the pinnable build menu, a committee agreed it was a good idea, and another committee thought it such a good idea to make it part of the beginning tutorial!? ...and yet it is nearly worthless lest you have (and use) 6+ build queues on a regular basis.

Unless, of course, you leave it pinned for more than just 3 buildings, at which point there is a (slight) savings.

And don't forget the extra clicks to change pages on the menu, which would add to your click counts in both cases.

But, yes, the star menu would be an even better thing to keep pinned.

I'd love to see the star menu pinnable myself, but I'm not sure the program could be made 'smart' enough. While the resource and misc tab would be fine, the specialist tab could be problematic, due to the submenus that pop up after you select a specialist. I don't think they can have more than one menu 'box' open at a time. At least, I can't think of an instance where I've seen that.

Still, I'll gladly take just the resource and buff tabs being pinnable!
