Introduce a second home island to conquer like the first. Make it a level 50 fairy tale adventure to conquer. One that would take weeks to conquer but every section you clear you could start building immediately and collecting more resources. the only foreseeable issue I notice would be connecting the storehouses and such so you have one total (that may not even be an issue)...

Maybe have an airport or boat dock to transfer between the islands

Once your existing island is fully developed you have more than enough resources to play the game..... why have a second island. The only reason I can see is to have more pop, this could be achieved more easily by allowing frozen manors or magnificent residences to be upgradable.
How about a server-wide island that we can all access.
Make it a place loaded with treasure to find and renew it every 24h.
Put a bunch of different level bandit camps so people of every level can participate.
