Trade glitch, sold instead of bought

I saw a trade offer by ghannima, selling 1k tools for 9 kettles. I accepted and while it was updating, I happened to look at the resource bar on top and saw my tool count go down from 10k to 9k. I checked with ghannima, whose kettle count had increased. My trade history said that I had bought 1k tools for 9 kettles...but instead I somehow sold 9 kettles and 1k tools.

Is this a known glitch? Or was it something I overlooked?

I have never heard of this happening, I think im going to go check my recent transactions and see if it happened to me. TY for posting so I can look for it if it is a glitch.
