Still no dev diary.. wonder if devs are still deciding on the design for the event.. and code will be written and pushed on the last day in a hurry.. yet again.
Point is.. why should it take this long for Dev Diary I don't understand... you already have it solid in your mind.. no?

I bought alot of the resources when the events were about to end, preparing 1 year ahead untill the event would come up again. I am sad to see that strategy failing due to gamechange. I dont disagree with the change as it probably will force experienced players to take part in the event, and make them/us actually do something apart from just buying event resources as I have(having 6k xmas presents would give me a good start for next event). Even though I think it is correct of dev/BB to change as they do, I would think it fair to let the experienced players have something for their planning. I have all high-cost items from these events, and there are really nothing I desire from midsummer event. Yeah, I can sell/help guildies, but really??? shall I have no reward for trading, buying, bidding and then saving those items for up to a year? Been selling granite, titan ore, swords etc to afford the event resources, to some extent hindering my own progress just to be prepared for next year.

    I like you're humor!

So that means is pretty much pointless for those of us who started playing after Easter? o.O

Will this also clean up my adventure buff window? I have toys and other stuff from events in it?

Well, it will be an opportunity for you to spend gems to get some things that are quantity limited. For instance, you're limited to buying 1 lucky explorer from the merchant chest. But in the event you can use gems to buy tokens, then use those tokens to buy two additional lucky explorers.

There may be another way to get tokens, but the only ways I've read about so far is past event resource conversion and buying them with gems.
