Unless I miss my guess on this whole thing; BB is trying to prevent hoarding of special items, including event collectables.

BB stole soccer collectables last year. even though some were bought with gems, I had a bunch of stuff that was gone (banana peels, shoes, twisters). these were gem bought from a box in the shop and never received any compensation for them. I think the good idea fairy runs around their shop and just does random stuff without even thinking whats the effect down the line. they have a test server and get tons of feedback, but don't adjust to that feedback. why even ask for feedback if you just ignore it anyway?

Hmmm, If I were the suspicious type... Kind of reminds me of BB's nerfing of the Nords2. Buy for 1495 gems; nerf the heck out of the loot and tell you (basically) 'tough-cookies'. Products not delivered as advertised. What do they call that?

we have been asking repeatedly about the fate of our soccer event collectibles...but our questions were masterfully avoided.
I'll try to make it easier, and offer multiple choice answer:

a) collectibles have been deleted
b) collectibles are hidden (but they might be available on future soccer events)
c) collectibles have been stolen by Sepp Blatter
d) I know the answer, but that's classified
e) I don't know the answer

Further information

• All Summer Event resources will be hidden from the warehouse (except footballs).
  You still own them (you don't lose any resources).
  You can see the amount in the trade office when you place an offer and you can even still trade them.
  With the next football/soccer related summer event, items are visible in the Major's house again.
• All event buffs can be deleted from the star menu.
  Be aware: Maybe they will be useful again in a future event
• Trade offers with (hidden) event resources won't be displayed to other players anymore
  (i.e. you can still trade with footballs, pumpkins, eggs etc.)
