    Do you guys agree?
A similar reward could also be in the PvP reward track, would that work?

Putting them in the PVP reward track would be a one time occurrence and probably wouldn't be very popular. Having them drop from expeditions so we can get multiples is what I understand Wardog to be suggesting. Coming up with another building with the same footprint and population that's specific to PVP and available in the shop for valor points would also be an incentive for people to play, or have this new building drop from expeditions as well as, or instead of frozen manors. Or maybe even make the Water Castle have a substantial population increase (like 50 per level) with every level attained. Now that would be pretty sweet! Heck, do all three things and see what happens =-)

Well tier 3 expeditions SHOULDN'T reward coal or hardwood planks (production). It should be ONLY epic resources. I honestly hope that is a bug and not bad (dumb really) design feature. When you get to tier 3 and start wasting huge amount of resources/troops you should be rewarded well (not with coal).

The reward track is a good idea to increase popularity of "pvp" but I would suggest the devs take a look at the test forum feedback thread about it. There are quite good suggestions and critics about how and where the rewards are placed. Wouldn't hurt any designers ego to check out some intelligent people posting few brilliant ideas there.

The water castle not having a population bonus is just DUH! moment. Also placing the top 120 marshal at the end of the grind (when you actually don't need him anymore) instead of dropping him to the front of tier 3 grind (where you need him MOST) is just... I am sorry to say but... dumb. Completely in agreement here with the testers.

Including Frozen Manor as some kind of reward from doing "pvp" would be a welcoming change. As long as the chances of getting it are better than there are now... The expansion islands will eventually come life (hope we don't have to wait 2 years for them) and then all housing will skyrocket in value.

I hope also BB, you guys think about something new (next thing after FT adventures) in the future for pve players (majority really) to do with all the extra room/population the expansion will give us? Like another adventure chain (similar to FT)? Perhaps raising level to 60?

"Pvp" even with rankings, better rewards and some fluff is not going to save your game. I hope you realized this by now. The huge majority of your players enjoy pve, economy/trade (hoarding included) and being/doing stuff with friends/guildies. You should rewire some of your designing effort/time into those 3 aspects of the game and stop pouring every resource into "pvp".

Whoever manager is responsible for the course the game has taken last 12 months - his ideas/perspectives cost you great numbers of lost players already. I hope the top brass at Ubisoft gets it and start re-focusing designing efforts where they bring the most impact. I don't want to see more and more people leaving because there is nothing new in what they love to do in the game - adventures/trading/socializing.

Agreed. Some of us (who do not currently run Expeditions - and I feel we number those who do Expeditions by a fair number), might even jump on board if that was the case. However, I must warn you that at one point, BB put an adventure in the merchant tab which cost 1495 gems and used to issue epic items.... (2/3 chance of getting a valuable item - FM or snowbag).

...Oh, SNAP - they still offer the same adventure for 1495 gems - Only it only dispenses a FM on less than 4% chance - if the non-official charts are to be believed (Hard to find enough people forking over 1495 gems to get a good sampling, however)!!! For the same 1495 gems, mind you.

So, if you are expecting BB to just start dropping FM's in expeditions, gl.

Player B now randomly chances to fight the colony of Player A, which is the exact same PvE based enviroment with a few more PvE baddies than before, nothing in this scenario is anything remotely closer to the concept of PvP than before.

PvE remains PvE, regardless of what you lable or dress it up as.

Being anonymous is fine as that doesn't interfere with PvP, then again you'd like to know which *** you kicked and who handed it to you

Monopoly is more PvP than the current "PvP" we got here...
    Finally. someone gets it.

Its more like PVE v PVE

Nothing involving BB and rewards thus far have ever amounted to very much, imo.

I see no reason to expect anything different.

Of course, if you worked with us, with our knowledge of the relative value of rewards and difficulty/cost to attain them, we might be able to come up with something we are all happy with.

Actually I don't mind the anonymous because if you do end up with somebody you know- it can be colluded in resource trading.

Like hey- if you don't attack me. I'll split the island resources with you. etc.

Winning Trading for ranking purpose. etc.

Maybe after the fight is over is okay.

I don't mind the anonymous either because then people can focus on the game instead of other things. If only the resource payouts were improved.
Still around from time to time.

I think your design choice was sound and inclusive of a goodly number of people who've posted they didn't want PVP because in other games they'd played they were relentlessly attacked by people or groups of people who decided to bully them for fun. So bravo for listening to your player base and doing what you felt was best by eliminating one of the negative aspects of PVP. I don't mind the fact that it's anonymous one bit.

I think a second combat armory and weaponsmith is just silly. Why not make the current ones upgradeable instead of taking up more island space. Maybe give us a "plan" like for the rarity provisions house that would double production speed permanently.
