Persistent Adventure ballons.

This is more of an annoyance, but it now happens 100% of the time instead of the previous 1:5 adventures:

• When an adventure is completed (whether as parent or child ls), the adventure balloon and entry in the Quest Book does not go away, and prevents other adventures in that slot from being started. The interim solution appears to be to attempt to 'Visit' the adventure, after a few seconds (depending on lag) an error message comes up and the adventure in question completes.

One possible solution to reduce it's frequency is to do fewer adventures...
And then you'd hopefully be less annoyed..

If we're going to discuss adventure balloon annoyances, here's another one that really chaps my lips. Used to be you could uncheck the adventure in your quest book and the balloon disappeared from your screen, giving an unobstructed view. This was a nice feature. In certain instances it made blocking easier because you didn't need to zoom out quite as far to get away from the balloon. Also if/when buffing a friends island to kill time while my generals were en route, having that balloon out of the way was a real pleasure.

Sometime in the past month or 6 weeks or so, this feature stopped working. The balloon will not go away when you uncheck it in quest book and so it's always in the way. Since expeditions have behaved this way since their inception, it appears adventures were modified to make them uniform with expeditions. Wrong way to go, fix expeditions instead of compounding the annoyance!! So now there are two instances where the adventure balloon doesn't go away when it should, when you uncheck the box and when the adventure ends.

Yes, this started at the same time that the balloons started being persistent 100% of the time (as opposed to less...).

At least you've discovered the solution, trying to visit the expired adventure, which makes it disappear.

well you can always drag the balloon box out of the way if it's in the way
