I used to pay for a few gems, but then I ran out of things to really buy with gems, and now that I'm lvl 50, I'm overflowing with gems. I don't really need any more generals or explorers, and I just don't want to fork out the gem cost to fix the couple of explorers I'd now like to change. What's left?
I've been playing for a few years now. I do seem to see more gem sales than I recall them having when I 1st started. There isn't anything in a long time that would make me want to buy anymore gems. BB has had their good additives in the game along with some bad ones. I wish they would split their efforts to balance out the game improvements in both PvP and PvE areas because that's the groups they have playing. Sure a huge change can be a good thing in 1 of those areas, but it can also be a bomb too. I would be quite happy seeing small, steady improvements in both areas than waiting over a year for them to maybe make an improvement in my side of the game (PvE).
1. Change the guild, epic, limited, adventure shops more often. For the adventure shop, maybe have more adventures available and think twice about removing adventures that are your top sellers or are needed for guild quest. If you do a vote on these items, than at least the players will feel that the items wanted the most are making it into the shop. Maybe add some of those rare adventures to the Epic shop that cost beans or stalks, and you get a win win BB because players will have to run FT's to get the beans and run the FT castle to make the stalks to get those adventures/things.
2. Not everyone maxed out the science tree, and that is a VERY slow process to get things done. But some have maxed it out. So why not expand what the Science tree can do now? There are a lot of buildings and gens left for you to work with.
3. Epic items and star coins. This was added to help give level 50 players something for them, something to work towards. I don't recall anything more coming of it. Some new adventures to do that won't take 2 years of buffing and running the weapon chains to run just one either! Since you took away weapons from loots instead of just dropping the amount a LS gives, which would have been far better than it's complete removal.
4. Some new buffs we can make that maybe lessens the amount of resources needed, that speeds up the time on creating those items, or a combination of those things on top of what we have already. There is still things that can be done on the buff area that can be seen to the majority as a good improvement.
5. Adventure searches seem to really suck now and they drop way more coop ones. A change in that to drop other adventures and a better chance at getting those more wanted adventures would also be seen as a good thing to the majority of players.
6. The achievement thing was nice, I think having it maybe become like the "Quest chains" would be cool. So, once you complete a chain and collect the reward, in a given amount of time the chain renews it's self and the player has a new chain to do. I can be satisfied with the reward still being the same amount. Those that were level orientated... well you'll have to come up with something like gathering X amount of star coins, once done the player gets a reward, and the clock is reset for them to begin collecting a set amount of star coins again for the next prize and so on.
7. BB wants players to buy gems for the premium they introduced, which was a good additive. There is still a lot that can be improved on that aspect of the game that would be seen as a good thing and make it more appealing to buy. Like 1, the ability to get the buff bonus even if the player placing the buffs is not on PA, maybe even a slight (but not as good as other players to do it) bonus if you self buff. 2, since BB removed weapons from the game and I do also believe that move hurt them. Now they have a chance to bring it back to some degree. They could have a weapon drop for those on PA. Sure the non PA players will gripe, but no more then all players gripe now with not having it all together, right? It doesn't have to be a huge amount like it was before. But enough that it can help ease the slow chains at making the weapons we need to run adventures. Taking a year to save up enough cannons to run just a single FT is the most stupid thing I've heard of as a great game development!!!!! There are many other aspects to the PA that can be done to make players want to buy it. Which in the end is what BB wants.
8. Stacking things in the star menu. This is something that has been repeatedly brought up by players. How BB can not see that as a good game improvement to satisfy it's community is beyond me. Why they would sit on such an improvement ability makes no marketable sense.
9. Better feed back from BB on the forums about improvements they are considering. An open dialog with the players that play the game can be helpful and less stressful for all I would think. It never goes across well when the majority of those affected by changes voice their concerns and BB says they are listening than release the very thing players were voicing their dislike for.
Hear, hear, TLC1!
