    While I'm not bowled over by the ranking system, I did notice one glaring deficiency, that seems to scream massive oversight (or I'm missing something entirely on the test serer, at least).

    As I'm seeing it, only the 10 top ranked pvp'rs on a given server (assumed) are shown. But I couldn't find my own metrics for what passes as the important points of the ranking system. Shouldn't there be a line for the individual player (presumably at the bottom, line '11' as it were) that shows their comparitive ranking? ie, 1...10 then rank 4325 Lord Klytus 3 hrs xxx troops killed.

    Something like that.

    I'm not doing pvp. Why would I fight with another player to waste my resource, instead leaving others to fight while I produce. But this changes worrisome. Reminds me another game I played. In time more rewards for pvp to force players, and if majority refuses to do then we may even see cutting rewards of pve.

    Game is broken anyway , since they change loots tables last year. Players with 200k coal, copper , beer like resources in their inventory running adventure to get 600-1200 of them in the loot? we give away more , throw lots like 3k-5k free to new players whoever asks. Who runs adventure to get 600 coal while they can produce more or receive free? Only granite and bean left as desirable resource. Since weapon drops stopped in the loot we running more recruit strategy than before. I stopped iron/steel swords use completely.

    What are the plans for dealing with players who already play Tier 3 colonies? Will everyone be set back to start (Tier 1 expeditions) again, or will we receive credit for expeditions already played?

    Wow, another purely decorative castle for my island. Maybe I can move my sleeping Fairy Tale Castle next to it...

    Please BB do something to make this game regain my interest for at least long enough to empty my gem pits.

    BB you are at least trying, give you credit for that.
    Just seems you are not listening to your players that are trying to give you ideas on how to improve the game and bring in more people who will stay with the game long term.Sure you will get players who spend money buying gems when they first start, then they get tired of it, and leave.
    PVP was and is a great idea, one some players wanted from the start, you did a masterful job working it so we had the choice of do PVP or not, I and others I have talked to have tried it, a few liked it. Most said to expensive in resources, in time spent trying to conquer the island. I thought it was expensive and not enough time to conquer the island, I tried on TSO and on Zeus could almost get the island then real life would take me off and I would return to find time had run out, wasted all the resources, and troops for nothing. Finally gave it up as good idea bad layout. The Water Castle looks great, but our islands are full or getting there, we don't need another decoration, give it some thing, water, population, some thing to make it really worth while to spend the time and effort to get it.

    Lora, the Water Castle will not use island space, it will be built in the water.

    I don't know whether you meant to say higher level or higher ranked players, but either way, as you progress through the levels of this game, the more effort you put into it, and the longer you play, you end up with an advantage over the players who don't. That usually applies to anything in life. I didn't really expect you to jump into the "It's not fair" crowd.

    The amount of effort required to get the water castle is not worth the reward, no matter where you can place it. If the reward is insignificant, then less people will attempt to achieve it. Take the frozen manor drop rate from Nords 2 for example. It is no longer worth the cost to run that adventure. The adventure should be worth a few hundred map fragments now, not 1495 gems. Do you guys even sell those anymore?

    I wholeheartedly agree that the longer you play and the more effort you put in, you end up with an advantage that you've earned. After playing for over 3 years and also spending a little on gems for building licences and explorers, etc, I'm in a very good position and can afford to have/do most anything I want in the game. Not trying to brag, just stating a fact that's true for many long term players.

    Having said that, I can completely understand why BB would issue a public statement like that. And I can also understand why BB might be unwilling to deal with the raving torrent of forum posts and harassment that would likely result if people who played expeditions got something really cool that people who won't play them couldn't. Why introduce yet another new feature that 100% guarantees yet another endless stream of moaning and groaning? There's no way anybody can deny what I'm saying, simply read thru the multitude of examples on this forum. Many of us already know without saying who would be leading the charge.

    Agreed. I like to help up and coming, hard working new players, but I have also worked to get to where I am today. It is no secret or surprise that the longer you stay in a game, the greater is the advantage that you gain. If BB is concerned that the advancement is too slow and that slow advancement discourages people, then there are other improvements that can be made. The same goes for trying to stop the long term players from achieving. BB needs to be careful with their goals. For instance, is the goal to balance weapons from adventures? If so, what are the implications to new players? What are the implications to the long term players? Are the consequences intended or unintended? As much as I support BB's hard work, unfortunately, some things do not appear to have been thought out.

    Let's be blunt...

    This makes me *less* likely to play PvP now.

    Sorry BB, but it's like you made an entire system based on one goal. Iron Drain. Otherwise I don't see the point in blindfolding myself before a fight that I can micromanage, only to see a time-limited return on my investment.

    Then the Water Castle is a decoration? O.o Sorry, no.

    Give it Population, give it PvP bonuses, give it *something*. O.o
