    The pretty 'pvp" castle

O yes, it's pretty and smexy and "uh I want this shiny thing..."

Before you get drugged on it go to test forums and check the feedback thread about "pvp" progression/ ranking.
According to the testers (and they are rarely wrong) it will take roughly a year of grind with the speed of one (1!) expedition a day(!) to get to the top.

If done even the training expedition you understand this will not happen unless you have about 5 more people pumping iron weapons for you and keep your barracks buffed up and busy all the time. O, and of course - not making a mistake causing you to lose battles

Happy grinding I can see the faces of your grandkids when you finally showed them your completed achievements

It takes a typical player like 2.5 to 3 years to get to lvl 50, so it's not like we aren't in a grind game as it is.

Well, if you could get to PVP level 30 in three weeks, or even 3 months, what would be the point? I didn't get to level 50 for something like 2 years or more. Wasn't in any big hurry to get there. Nothing in this game moves very fast, so what?

As I've heard of no further update in that regard....does the Watercastle at least have a use by now?

Mind you I will somewhat be playing them expeditions regardless, obviously not as much as adventures, nevermind the weapon bottleneck.

Apparently it is just a decor. Getting a population buff with it would be nice, then again players who don't play "pvp" wouldn't be happy about it.

Yea a population buff is crucial,

However 1 PVP island a day is a bit conservative, I regularily do 2-3. Remember it isn't a single player game, trading is your friend.

I like the way it's set up now. Those who wish to PvP can do so, those who don't want to bother can pump out PvP weapons to sell via TO. Looks like win-win to me

It's not that everyone wants to play, play, play to complete the latest feature. It's that human nature is geared towards wanting to do that and the business model here preys on human nature's weaknesses.
