    Monetizer analyst

Mainly for the community manager - aka Endesmor2.

He (monetizer analyst) is NOT up to the job. He has totally failed what he (or she) is paid for.

A very good example is the new scenario - now available on test-server.

BB's cash cows are the newbies - and then he figures that a scenario for the rich (in ressources) players needs something like that?
The scenario is very expensive - and testers really fast told BB that it was a crappy loot compared to the investements - then BB shows up telling that the loot is "Fake" - and will be improved when it goes live. I trust you not.

Here is a list of what you should be focusing on now (cannot guess on what stupid acts BB will unleash on us in the nearest future):

    1. Frozen Manor is the most wanted building in the game.
    2. We can get granite and titore from a lot of sources - but not SALT.
    3. A huge pile of the loyal players are very rich in ressources - they do need the guild-bank, in order to help newbies.
    4. Science for the island and generals - as promised.
    5. Wipe out ALL the bugs in expedition islands. (cannot go fast enough - last upgrade just gave us some more bugs. tsk-tsk)
    6. Get some logic in to the loots from adventures. (when the analyst is bored - check out how many Tomb Raiders has been played since loot was nerfed.)
    7. Write to Support???? Naaah - support seems to have lost their way. I am full of awe to the ones answering tickets - but they just do not know the game anymore. Somehow BB has let them down on the PvP feature.

I could line up the bugs found on expedition islands - but I am here to have fun, not to do BB's job.

Well, To be honest, the itemized items posted by Wardog would be agreed on by many current players, especially the veterans; however, I do not agree on the responsibility falling on one person. I believe, based on previous employers as well as watching the trends, the folks wholly responsible for the bottom-line decision making are NOT the ones actually talking with us. More likely the traditional bean counters. This game was created by another company, purchased by BB/UBI for no other purpose than to make money.

The one thing they (and all other businesses) listen to are the sounds of cash registers ringing. Ergo, based on their direction, the business is making the money they want going in the direction they are. Wardog may have hit the nail on the head when stating that the noobs are the target. The long term issue then will come back to haunt them. We shall see.

But can't see the vault of goldcoins (imagine Dagobert Duck now...) that is Frozen Manors and a Bookbinder que slot?

Then again, if just thinking globally not just TSO related, whenever do you really get the feelings the higher ups still have a clue at all...

    Hi everyone,

Any new feature on the Test Server is still being worked on and may not reflect the final status of the content. We use the test server to collect feedback and improve these new features.

Regarding the costs and loot of the new scenario, it is only a placeholder, as discussed in this thread. I am not involved in analysis or design, but I forward your feedback and suggestions to the developers.

You guys need to give Endesmor a break. She only passes on the info to Devs and back to us. She knows what the Devs tell her and it is not her fault Devs don't do what they say "will" do, or do something without informing her. It is like a buffer absorbing all the shocks from both sides of the game - players and developers.

Endesmor is not responsible for Devs decisions about the game development, changes and such. Now if you want to criticize her, do it on the platform of her responsibilities - communicating info back and forth between devs and players.

I played few games where game devs were often in the game, checking stuff out, participating in social events or just having fun for a moment with players. Most of those moments were quite fun especially back in the day when devs were not afraid of using their programming powers. Spawning extra resources, or some fancy features for an event, dropping extra amount of npcs to whack on to get more loot (during events), or even insta popping bosses. Hey one time about 100 of us were killing one dev for about 20 min (he had ultra health and gear to chew through). I remember dying about dozen times of his aoe abilities before we finally downed him. We were able to check his gear in loot window (nope we didn't get to loot it) and each of the "raiders" got some credits for our effort. 10 years later the veterans of the game still remember the fun

Sadly those interactions became rarity over the years. Plenty of gamers today have the mental/emotional setup of 6 years olds who do the best what they do best - whine and complain if not insta gratified/rewarded. Dealing with bunch of whining kids can rub on you pretty fast... Legal issues are another reason. During Halloween years back one of the devs spawned tons of extra npcs for the participants of the event for few hrs. The forums got flamed pretty fast from those who were not logged during prime time and missed the "chance" for extra loot. As if there were entitled to it...

TSO community is pretty good actually compared to other games I played. Don't know if the devs understand, but actually on test forums we had the most mature, experienced and brilliant players posting for a while. I said "had" because most of them gave up posting already since there is almost never a response from the devs on test to their intelligent and mature concerns or observations. Too bad. The game could have sailed away from rocks and storms many times if devs would open some kind of conversation on test forums.

Lack of acknowledgments, or any open discussions on test results with some pretty crappy design blunts coming to life servers. O well, that is a topic of another story .

I will share your thoughts with my colleagues and we will discuss what can be done.

    And FYI I'm a man!

    Cheers,
