    Level 32 and onwards!

    Hi everyone!

I just cleared my home island and I am currently at level 32 with ~32000 XP.

I can maintain most production chains, but I am guessing they are not producing enough for my current level. What I am asking for in this thread is some general advice on what chains I should prioritize looking forward as I embark upon adventures. I am okay with spending more time holding of to upgrade, but I am not sure what the appropriate amount of the various chains are. Everybody is warning about space becoming an issue later on, so I don't want to build unnecessary buildings. I have not figured out all of the mechanics, so for the most part I buy cheap stuff with gems that can be traded for lots of gold and use that gold to cover shortcomings or slow chains.

Most building (not mines) are level 3. Only a few of my buildings are higher than level 3, mostly due to shortage of granite and exotic planks. Currently I can only bring in ~100 granite per day through medium adventures with my explorers. And I have not yet dared to build an exotic sawmill as I have no steady income of exotic wood through exploring.

I currently have 14 building licenses left, and I have only 14x left for gem purchase in the shop.

Right now my biggest issue is coal production which is required for bumping bronze, iron and steel production, but coal production requires foresters and cutters that take up building licenses. And the coal mines are expensive. To constantly keep upgrading cooper, iron and coal mines to level 2 requires tools and I barely have enough production to upgrade to level 2 as it is.

So, looking at my current level and me now becoming ready for adventures - any suggestions on what I should upgrade or build more of?

I am happy for all help I can get.

    Regards,

    Stavros

For adventures you are going to need weapons and people. So the coal, weapons and bread chains will benefit you the most. Personally I would drop all attempts at a gold chain. Gold is easy to come by with the trade office and if you get to the point where you can adventure a lot, you will find it in the loot. You can pick a resource and focus on that to sell in the TO to make your coins, but understand that it is going to have ups and downs. If it comes to the point where you are low on building licenses the first thing you should drop is your stone masons and pinewood sawmills. Keeping one of those at higher levels will be more than enough. If you do not have the rarity provisions house and plans for Aunt Irmas Feast I would advise picking it up. Hopefully they will be available for Christmas this year. You will need to upgrade your sausage chain to keep up with it, but the 24 hour buffs are nice as you can essentially double your lower level buildings which quadruples the next level up and so on without having to worry about going broke while you sleep.

    Thanks for the reply.

I have the rarity provision house, but no recipes. Was not aware that the recipes would only be available during holidays. So I guess I will have to wait this one out.

I took your advice and have made some changes:

I have expanded my bread chain to 2k/12h with two more bakeries, four more mills and eight more farms. As these are all just level 3 buildings I can upgrade them to increase output later.

I have added a toolsmith so I am now at 2k/12h production for tools. That should help me keep the mines at level 2 for now.

I have doubled my bronze swords production to 580/12h. Is this still too low?

I have expanded my coal production to 12k/12h so that should help. I have upgraded my steel chain, so my steel weaponsmith is at level 2 now.

I have also started my exotic wood sawmill with 3x buff. We'll see if I can keep it steady. Currently have 3k exotic wood in storage.

Will I need as many militia and bowmakers when I have access to soliders and longbowmen? I am not sure if I should invest in upgrading the weapon chains for these units.

What I was asking was perhaps for some suggested output levels for the various chains at level 32-33. That will give me an indication on the number of buildings of each to have, or at least what I should prioritize for expensive level 4+ upgrades.

    Cheers,

    Stavros

for adventure, just focus on bronze sword, bow, brew and bread. Most people will end up repeating certain adventure over and over. and they only run the adventure that only loss recruit and bowman. I will recommend horseback for your level. if you only have tavern general, loss to do horseback is about 443R + 230B.
if you plan to do it once a day, you need production of 4430 bronze sword and 2300 bow per day. also the brew and bread.

below is the wiki guide for horseback for tavern general

right now you don't need to care about chain for militia, soldier and longbowmen, you can just buy the weapon and don't do those adventure that will loss them.

but on the other hand, those weapons are getting expensive as the hoards begin to dwindle. I built every building as soon as they unlocked and kept at least one of each for the most part. owning a certain chain will come in handy later as you get certain quests for them. having a cannon chain when you hit 50 is aa lot of gems for the taking without jumping through hoops to build the chains.

Thanks. Are you suggesting that I should aim at 4k bronze sword and 2k bow production per day? A 2k/12h is 4x the amount I have now, which will require a lot of building licenses. If I aim at at brew production to keep up I will need a lot of extra buildings, even if I get the Friary. 2k bows per day (which I interpret as 1k/12h) would require 5 level 4 bowmakers, which would again require 4 level 4 woodcutters and 8-10 foresters. Thats a lot of licenses. And then I have to get the farms, mills and bakeries to increase the bread production accordingly.

Are these production rates normal for a level 32 player?

I do not have enough licenses, but I guess I can save up to purchase the licenses with gems and expand my chains that way.

that's the target I suggest to make you run 1 horseback a day, just ratio it to what you capable now and increase it while you level up.
also, you don't need those iron related chain now. you can consider tear them all down to get license. you can build them again at level 50. just don't run any adventure that loss militia and soldier before lvl 50.
