New Players Stuck at Level 7

Over the last 2 days there have been dozens of players stuck at level 7 due to a quest that won't clear.
This is something that need to be fixed ASAP even if it means an unscheduled maint.

It seems the issue is that they are doing things the game is not asking them to do yet, but building a provision house too early shouldn't prevent you from progressing.

Actually it's a known issue affecting many players using steam.
It involves a quest that won't clear.

Some players also reported that the quest would eventually unlock itself.

There are some potential work-arounds that have been reported for the people stuck at level 7. These are:
1) Try to send an explorer to find a new sector.
2) Click on the greyed-out storehouse icon on the build menu.
3) Log out of the game for 15 minutes.
4) Destroy and rebuild the provision house (please remember resources will be needed to rebuild)

Seems to be more of a capped population. Gifted a noble to someone in guild with it and all went well.

The developers are working on a solution. It will most likely be implemented next week and improve the tutorial situation, among others the soft lock at level 7.

this is how mine worked.

1) Try to send an explorer to find a new sector.

5) Banged on desk
6) Log out of the game for 15 minutes. *again*
7) Try to send an explorer to find a new sector. *again*
8) cried and 3 seconds later the next quest popped up..lol
