    Question In What order would you rather lose new Elite units

    For example, with old units, I had imagined following weights for the relative cost of losing them -
    R=3
    B=4
    M,LB=8
    S=12
    C=18
    XB=20
    ES=32
    and so on...

    Any thoughts on similar weights for new units?

    Swordsman
    Mounted Swordsman
    Knight
    Marksman
    Armored Marksman
    Mounted Marksman
    Besieger

    I am just going to stick to the first Ali Baba adventure once in a blue moon and use old units in foolish protest of the fact that I cannot take Knights to Bounty Hunter. Also level 54 is months away for me at best.
    One army. Pretty please.

    I wonder if IOTP would be doable in 1 attack with the new units? Barring the leaders of course.

    Swordsman is the preferred sac troops
    knight in 2nd place
    then mounted sworsdsman, avoiding as possible

    marksman could possibly be a sac unit to cover the other marksman if the price for the arquebus is cheap, time will tell, but until now i havent use them at all

    all the others, protect at all cost

    To answer your curiosity, yes, just send 270 Knights to the last leader camp, and you'd be left with only first two leader camps..
    You'd loose about 50-60 knights...

    I was thinking Knight should be considered cheaper than Swordsman.. time to build is the same, and per my understanding, needs less platinum.. No?
    Also, since it is 1st strike, can actually come in quite handy most of the times..

    To tell everyone the truth, this is what I had initially come up with (but I am not fully satisfied without an open discussion) -
    Swordsman = 16
    Mounted Swordsman = 17
    Knight = 1
    Marksman = 32
    Armored Marksman = 48
    Mounted Marksman = 33
    Besieger = 50

    knights need alot to buildings to make them
    platinum swords are easy, first woodcutter gives you 10k plat ore, 15k on prem, thats enough for like 20 runs of that adventure
    how could knights cost 1?

    btw my cost of old units is this, based on the cost for resources needed to make 1:

    Troops Value
    Recruits 1,125
    Bows 1,25
    Milita 5,625
    Longbowmen 1,525
    Soldiers 8,175
    Cavalry 2,025
    Xbowmen 46,025
    Elite soldier 51,025
    Cannonner 151,025

    The "," is the decimal point.. right?

    As for the cost of 1, the costs are relative.. so 1 is what I started with, in case of new units..
    I could multiply the entire table by 2 or 3 if you like

    Agreed.. that if platinum will be in abundance, then it won't matter that much.
    I didn't care that much about buildings, because once you have them.. the chain can keep running.
    Among the first 3 units, producing respective weapons shouldn't be that hard.
    One needs plat sword, other needs knights, and the 3rd needs plat sword + knights.

    Also, for your "cost for resources needed to make 1" Do you adjust them with market prices?

    yes and yes
    got alot of stuff in my spreadsheet, that is a table with the cost to make 1 and time to train 1, receives values from the costs of recourses, and exports values to a table to calc barracks time, and a table to calc costs/profits
