pretty certain they pause all buffs/buildings during maintenance cause i have had some Rainbow snows end in the middle of the night around 2 am when i used it at 6 pm.

This does not happen as you have suggested...buildings cointinue to run, as do buffs and mines

From my experience, they don't pause the buffs, they just run out.
(that's why you turn off the high-end stuff)

I was doing ok on the test server until they shut that down for an unscheduled maintenance.

sigh. I was so desperate I actually went... outside... <shudder> it was scary... the graphics were simply amazing but the story line sucked. I tried to talk to a girl and ended up having the cops called on me... and the save restore feature is sadly missing... bring back my virtual life!!!
