BBs, maybe it is time to roll back Ares to Monday night. Start testing the upgrade somewhere safe, not on live servers. The upgrade is not worth much at this moment.

I wouldn't mind that it's down so much if there was an accurate "up time". When it gets close to that "up time", if they were responsible and customer friendly, they would extend it if they thought it would take more time, rather than leaving us in the dark. Good customer service goes a lot farther that way...

Based on what German BB's shared, they are undergoing a "database purge" (google it if you care), and the database scripts are apparently "always hard to predict, how long it will take to run". For the same reason, German XXL update was postponed and will not be added until they perform optimization (purge) on all databases (that's 14 servers in Germany) to avoid exactly what is happening here...
The other thing is there is no more communication since the 3:30 AM news post on the main page - guess Endesmor is still sleeping
