New International Guild Market Vote

Dear Settlers,

Once again, the entire world wide The Settlers Online community decides which items will be included in the next Guild Market update.
A special survey will start soon, all details can be found below.

The offers in the Guild Market are changed from time to time. The worldwide community of The Settlers Online will choose NINE items that will be included in the next update of the Guild Market category. It is up to the entire worldwide community to decide which items will be included in the offer. More details can be found below.

Voting facts

• Start: Thursday, October 8th, ~ 9:15 am EDT / 6:15 am PDT
• End: Sunday, October 18th, ~ 6:00 pm EDT / 3:00 pm PDT
• Who? All players from all language versions can vote once on their instance.
• Where? Use the website login. After some time a pop-up will show up on our community/news site.
• How? In the survey you select ONE item from the first question and up to EIGHT items from the second question.
• Result calculation:
  The votes of all language versions (instances) will be summed up. One player can vote for up to NINE items in total: one item from the first question and up to eight items from the second question. The item with most votes from the first question and eight items with most votes from the second question win.
• Result announcement:
  The results of the voting will be presented between October 19th and October 30th.

There are a couple of reasons why the results are not presented instantly after the survey ends. The extended time is needed to make sure there will be neither double votes nor attempts of cheating via multi accounts. Afterwards we need to sum up the votes from all language versions and discuss with the development team when the changes will be live.

All items that are currently available in the Guild Market will be changed.

Nine of the items mentioned below will be selected by the entire world wide community through the vote.
During the vote, each player will be able to select one item from the first question and one to eight items from the second question.
A brief summary of possible choices can be found below.

Name: Friary (2 per player, can be gifted, can be traded) *
Type: Building
Description: Produces 4 times as much brew as the regular Brewery.
Price: 7,425 Guild Coins

Name: Granite Pit (2 per player, can be gifted)
Type: Building
Description: Produces granite until its deposit of 3000 units is empty.
Price: 5,985 Guild Coins

Name: Noble Residence (3 per player, can be gifted, can be traded) *
Type: Building
Description: A residence providing additional space for settlers.
Price: 285 Guild Coins

* Important
These items will be limited (amount of purchases in Guild Market per player).
It doesn't matter if you already bought them in the past. If the item wins,
every player will be able to get the mentioned amount of items in exchange for Guild Coins.

Description: Highlights all collectibles on an adventure map for 5 minutes.

Description: Doubles the recruiting speed of the barracks for 12 hours

Dear Settlers,

The next Guild Market update will also include the Friary, the 2nd most popular item from the first part of the recent vote.
The gifting option was intended, but due to technical constraints this is not possible to implement without a huge delay.
In order to balance this out, the Friary building will be added as well.


Although it cannot be directly gifted, there is an easy solution if you want to "donate" a building to a friend:
Send them the guild coins via friend trade offer and they can acquire the item themselves.

Limit details
The limit refers to acquisitions in the new Guild Market.
It doesn't matter if you already acquired the items in the past.
Everybody will be able to get the aforementioned amount of items in exchange for Guild Coins.

You will be able to acquire a total of 4 useful buildings instead of 2.
The missing gifting option can be solved by sending the needed guild coins to the recipient friend.
