Did Your Purchase Gems During the 3X Sale?

I know several people whose credit card company has shut off their card for buying or trying to buy gems today. It seems whatever service Blue Byte has switched to is sending massive red flags to the credit card companies.

Anywho if you bought gems or tried and had the transaction fail like some people, I advise you check with your credit card company before going out trying to use it again.

I was going to Paypal, but it never went to Paypal's site, so I took it as sign to save money. It's not like I have any plans for Gems right now anyway.

They are using Xsolla Inc. now for the transactions. They have an F rating with the BBB.

It took me a few times to get to PayPal's site, but I figured it was because of my Kaspersky anti-virus's new settings. Disabling Kaspersky's separate secure browser for PayPal did the trick.

Bought gems during the sale but only got the normal amount of gems for the money not the +200% amount so I got ripped off.

Hmm. This was meant to be a warning to help out players... but hey I guess every thread devolves into trash talking about BB now a days.

Wish I had read it before i tried to buy yesterday. I was originally denied when i tried to use the reg CC payment method. Checking with my CC company was no issue with my card they claimed the charge never even tried to post. I sent in a ticket with the processing company that popped up with the denial their response was wait 24 hrs and try again. As i explained to them that was not going to work as the sale was over before that. So I decided to try again using Paypal. WHich did work. My account shows that i recieved the gems my CC shows a charge for the package amount with paypal for ubsoft. Sounds great right, wrong... My shop is now turned off. I cant buy anything from it. Not for gems not for map frags not for guild coins nothing its all grayed out. Have sent in a ticket expect to hear something from them by Monday. In the mean time go to eat and yep you guessed it credit card is turned off for prevention of fraud. SO in trying to buy one package of gems on sale i have had two days of headaches. THinking will be my last purchase for a while. Listen to SweaterPuppies, If you have used your cc to purchase gems call your company before your surprised at your next place of business.

How is this a trash talk? BB chose a company to operate their cash shop with F business rating. It wasn't my choice it was theirs. It takes 10 sec to find the crap on BBB site page, apparently nobody at BB even bother to look at it. Cause if they did, they could see other providers of the same service with much better ratings operating in all regions of the world.

Besides there is a serious problem if such "liberal" transaction operator as Paypal gives players some issues with it. Anybody can today afford a decent transaction provider as an independent contractor, so I am sure BB (as a corporation) can too. They just don't give a crap. How else are you going to explain bunch of people getting fubared on the gem sale?

I am happy to note that I made an excellent decision not to buy gems. I just love saving myself trouble.
