    Halloween 2015: Removal steps 1+2

The Halloween event will be turned off in two steps. Both deactivation phases happen with the corresponding game maintenance.
This brief FAQ will provide you with some detailed information about each phase.

    REMOVAL PHASE 1 - November 10th

    • What does Removal phase 1 basically mean?
The core mechanisms of the event will be turned off, but the event shop category will remain until Removal phase 2.
This means you have one additional week to get special event items for Pumpkins.
    • Can I still collect Pumpkins in Removal phase 1?
Pumpkins that spawned before the maintenance can still be collected. However, after the collectible items are newly refreshed in Removal phase 1, no new Pumpkins will spawn.
    • What happens to Halloween Quests that are not finished?
The event quest chains will be cancelled.
    • When will Pumpkins be removed from the (special) adventure loot ?
Is the start or the end time of the adventure relevant?

If the adventure was started before Removal Phase 1, but was only finished after Removal Phase 1 was activated, no Pumpkins will be included in the loot. Adventures started in or after Removal Phase 1, don't provide Pumpkins.
    • Is it possible to create event items?
The creation of "Banshee's Scream" and "Werewolf's Howl" (as well as the Golem buffs) are related to the Halloween event. Therefore this option will be turned off. If you started to produce an event item shortly before the Removal phase 1 maintenance, this item will be finished even after Removal phase 1. Same goes for completed items: You can still pick them up after Removal phase 1.
    • What happens to the Golem buffs in my Star Menu?
The production resources will be refunded and the buffs removed. Running productions will be completed (in the allotted time) and the buffs will be refunded when they are used on the Mayor's house.
    • Is it possible to use items like the "Banshee's Scream" buff after Removal phase 1?
You can still use the buff in order to get more Pumpkins before Removal Phase 1 finishes. As soon as Removal Phase 2 starts, the buff effect will end and you won't be able to use these buffs any more.

    REMOVAL PHASE 2 - November 17th

    • What happens with Removal Phase 2?
All remaining elements of the Halloween 2015 event will be removed with Removal Phase 2, however, Pumpkins will be converted to Gold Coins one week after Removal Phase 2 (see post below).
An event resource conversion will also take place during which all remaining event resources will be converted into gold coins, similar to the Midsummer Night Special this year.
    • What about remaining pumpkin fields?
The pumpkins remaining on each field, no matter if the fields have been built or if they are still in your Star Menu, will be converted to coins as well. This ensures no pumpkins are lost, but no event resource buildings remain in order to truly remove all event resources.
    • Can the "Trick" and "Treat" buffs still be used after Removal Phase 2?
After Removal Phase 2, the "Trick" and "Treat" buffs created can still be used on your friends, but you won't be able to create more of them.

You're (still) kindly invited to provide scary good (or bad) feedback
