Guild quest

I joined a guild several days ago and received my first guild quest "Ready the Soldiers" which requires me to buff 25 friends with fish platters. I have buffed friends and I have buffed guildies and I have buff friends who are also guildies and nothing is registering on the quest. The parent quest to this is "The Good General" which requires 28 guild members to complete their own quest. This is also not registering. Please help so I may complete the quest.

Maybe it was a waiting quest? I can't see the writing in the picture it's to small.

The normal order of quests on the quest scroll is: Main Quests, Side Quests, Skill Bonus Quests, Guild Quests, Daily Quests, Waiting Quests, and Collection Quests. In the picture attached, the order jumps from Side Quests to Waiting Quests, meaning that there are no Guild or Daily Quests currently active.

Guild quests are given at a specific time each day to all active members of the guild. The current time of the daily reset is 2100 EST / 1800 PST for Ares. If you were not a member of the guild when the active quest was given, no quest would be received regardless of how long that quest was active. If there was also a waiting guild quest for the guild, a new quest would not be assigned to newly joining members until that waiting quest had moved to active, and a new waiting guild quest was issued to all the active members.

From the picture, it is likely that there was both an active and waiting guild quest when the player joined, and the guild has since completed the active guild quest and the waiting has moved up to active status. As the player did not have the waiting quest previously, he would not have it when it moved to active status. When the current guild quest is complete, then the displayed waiting quest will become active. Until a quest is active, it is not possible to complete. While the the quest may show that the required actions have been taken, it will reset when becoming active and must be completed at that time.

This should change based on the newer guild quest system currently being tested on the test server.
