The crisis events themselves weren't bad, its just the rewards were terrible compared to the effort and resources you had to put in. Balanced properly crisis could be fun...but unfortunately with BB's track record, game balance is usually their weakest area so no matter how hard they try it would likely end in disaster.

This event wouldn't be the only one that BB has made the effort not worth the end reward - look at the amount of worthless adventures to be had!. However, any event which is a side step from the norm which can't be bad even if it is only for the fun factor
