Santa Explorer?

I'm kind of disappointed that you guys didn't create a Santa themed Explorer like the Lucky Explorer with his st. patty looking hat.

If you guys don't feel like adding new explorers into the game because you feel its starting to be too OP for those who have an army of explorers bringing back too many presents or eggs or items, then I suggest the following:


How about Skins? Concept is to sell new skins (Portraits) for your Explorers/Generals/Geos.

Not only can we edit their names, but we can change how they appear and look in the star menu.


(I'd like to be able to also set the order of the generals/specialists in the star menu: example: Major general first, followed by MMA or Vet)


The new Skins concept can allow you to sell new portraits in the gem shop. Or give out as event prizes. Skins is like a big free to play concept in other games. Like MOBA, they sell skins. StarCraft has skins for units. Blizzard has heroes and hearthstone with skin options.

You can have some free skins too to help us organize our specialist. Like we skilled book this guy to be a Coal Finder. So have some skin with a coal icon on his head or something. (just an example). Or a gold finder geo with some Gold Bars or gold tooth shiny. Explorers that are looking for artifact give an Indiana Jones hat to him. Or Explorer looking for adventures versus ones that are granite searching only etc.

Selling Skins on the gem shop is a way you guys can be making money without playing into the pay 2 win area.

(If you want to make more money, just sell multiple copies of the skin with the limit set at how many possible specialist there are. Like if there are currently 12 explorers total possible, you could sell x12 Santa skin. Rather than just 1 santa skin unlocked as a choice for all.)

I agree that Blue Byte is mad with the amount of explorers some us have so I doubt we will be seeing a new one for a while.

when i first saw the icon I thought it would be an explorer, I was so happy. I like my explorers. I dont see why they should be made all the extra explorers cost gems. Well spent gems but gems all the same

I thought that Icon was going to be an explorer too.

But turns out he's a general.


They should have used that Krampus Icon to be a general instead. Krampus icon is for a coal buff.

personally not all that interested in any holiday themed characters... i would prefer more generic character types that have better skills / attributes.

Krampus would make an AWESOME general (of course, it would depend on how they set him up, but still, in theory...).

And Santa would make more sense as an explorer, IMO, than a general. Too late for that now, though.
