??? Thank you, but I knew that; thus my statement that this year's was shorter prior Christmas events... I know that 204 was full 4 weeks.

PS-Looks like this guy already did the research: Post Reference

PPS-BB_Endesmor - Do you know why they shorted us a full week off of this event?

The price for grout increased compared to last year, because this resource has a higher importance and trade value compared to last year. Even though the price was mentioned in the Dev Diary, marking the change in blue slipped.
This was taken care of meanwhile: The new price is marked in blue.
So if presents are now worth MORE than ever. You guys need to change the output of granite in the provision house to be higher. Or reduce the presents requirement because presents are at a shortage now.

What is the quest title and text; what have you done? We can't help without details.

well, OK, I guess that'll teach me to rely on my memory.

    Edit (later that day)

But wait....... going back thru dev diaries for every other event, it's 3 weeks active plus one week of the shop being open for a total of 4 weeks. Looking at Christmas 2013's Dev Diary, the start and end dates are 4 weeks apart with no mention of a removal phase. Which may mean it was also 3 weeks active, plus one week in the shop. So maybe the right question to ask is why was Christmas 2014 one extra week long when compared to every other event we've ever had?

Not trying to argue, just looking at all the facts and realizing there's nothing wrong with my memory. All events are 3 weeks active plus one week of the shop, total 4 weeks, except for some reason, one Christmas event last year.

I seem to recall 2013 xmas as being 4 weeks (As it was in semi-sync with the Advent it stuck in my mind; having 4 series of Event Quests)...

Regarding the 1 week period between, I remember Easter 2014 being the first that BB actually scheduled the 2-tier Event Completion thing; and it did not go well.

What I do find interesting is that there is no BB response to the matter and put it to bed! Obviously, no matter what banter we players exchange, are only getting 3-weeks of event. A player asked why it changed and no response. (Unexplainable questions normally receive this response)

Regarding the gift for doing all the doors:
I clicked the final door in the Christmas Calendar, then the below right Completion Reward. I then went through every part of my Start menu three times seeing no gift box you read about when you hover the cursor over the completion reward. I checked this Forum and saw nothing about not getting the gift box. I sent a frustrated message to the player who helps me often about how I did not get the final gift, and logged off. When I logged back in, she left a message saying you have to click that Completion Reward twice. So back to the Christmas Calendar where I clicked that box. She was correct - this time two things descended into the Star Menu. My two gift boxes are in the Buffs section of the Star Menu, near the bottom. They are to the left of my premium buffs. So hopefully this helps anyone despairing about not getting the final reward.

When they clean up the collectibles from the event, will they also clean up left over buffs? I believe I still have buffs that I had created (Christmas sweets) that I can no longer use because I have advanced beyond needing them. This clean up could also clean up water buffs from halloween and stuff from the soccer events?? I was under the impression that all these would either be converted into coins, or decomposed into their base ingredients

Most of them you can drop on your mayor's house for a refund. Not so much on the Soccer items... but that is only 5-6 months away {maybe} and if you held on to them for this long...
    One army. Pretty please.

they never let the soccer buffs be dropped on mayors - i tried at the time - after we have asked SEVERAL times to have our ingredients back we are still sitting with them (i have HUNDREDS due to this being the 1st time they tried this kind of adv scheme and guides not quite getting the #'s right). i'm also stuck with stupid halloween buffs that weren't able to be converted. (because they are apparently 'useful' but there NOT unless someone ELSE has dropped the trick buff for me -- good luck with that eh? i'd rather just trade them in.) i now have a few extra spirit buffs due to the incorrect # in guides (i did try my best to avoid that) - since they used high value items i really hope they keep their promise to let me recoup the ingredients.
