    Why:
    1. Aid in locating buildings of lower/higher efficiency or lower/higher level.
    2. Automate statistics that are a pain to calculate manually.
    3. When converting/upgrading buildings it help find the lower level ones. Especially when converting all your Noble Residences to Star-Nobles.
    4. Helps you determine how much of your storage/population cap comes from which types of buildings.
    5. Cool/fun statistics
    6. Population growth is the only 'production' statistic that isn't readily available/comparable to other production rates. It's a pain to calculate manually.

    Anyone have any ideas to improve this suggestion? or thoughts on it?

    A "phase 2" addition that would be nice would be some sort of flag if the building is upgrading... since upgrading storage/residence doesn't affect their storage/res-cap until the upgrade is completed. So users wanting to use the economy overview to quickly locate buildings in need of upgrading would want to be able to identify which ones have upgrades already underway.

    Good idea, I have always thought it would be nice if the star nobles looked differently than the nobles that require building licenses when viewing them on players' islands or my own island.

    I WISH this was in the game - i am SURE there are nobles somewhere hiding on my island that may be using bl. I agree any residence thats tradable should look different than bl residences.

    this would fix a major 'ressource missing' information and add information since there is school and other events that can cause population grow that arent counted currently and ways to find population and capacity buildings.

    +1 for this great idea!

    yes please - this solves the lurking BL nobles.. AND the ones that hide are missed for upgrades.

    Meanwhile you can find BL nobles with the "tear-down" function.
    If it says you'll get back a BL with the building materials, you found one.

    While they're tinkering in there, also add Gems to the Resources group so gem pit production can be seen without manual calculation.
