All treasure searches started before the start of the removal phase have the chance to reward event currency.

Not a single present has been brought back on searches started BEFORE Removal Phase 1 :\

I did the same, sent them all out before the start of the removal phase, none have brought back any presents.

I too sent out my explorers before the start of the removal phase and got no presents. Not a single present from any of them. Is a zero percent return considered "a chance"?

agreed - out of 14 explorers - all sent within 2 hrs before the final countdown - Not a single one had presents. also after the mid maint my present rate dropped from 9/10 bringing back to around 6/10 bringing presents back.
