Castle Empire, an Overview

One of the tensest questions in help tab is 'how do i play'. This
is because the game has an excellent system that teaches you how to
play it. But no one believes that. So I will give you some
information that will actually tell you how the game is structured
and what you do.
.
First off this is one of those 'building games' where you bring
mines and wood up levels and allows you to get more resources, make
more things, make more of things and so forth. Now there used to be
in place a tutorial that brought you up with some experience points to
level 17, when you had all you powers (espeically to trade) and it
expanded to well lets see, its still giving me quests at 51. So if
you see 'tutorial' its just the beginning of what has become a long
term system which quite well tells you what to expand to be ready for
the next stuff.
.
How do I know? The ! menu gives you the quests. Verbally that is
a bang, for the old comics. You have quests to bring you up, daily
quests, side quests, guild quests and so forth. If you want to know
exactly when you get what, I have a guide that goes up to level
twenty six. Use it. We get tired in help about answering, when can
I mine iron, get a general, so forth. (http://tinyurl.com/z86q2zn)
.
THE BIG ISLAND
.
To start with you have a home island with nine sectors. They are
set up just like the fingerpad numbers on your keyboard. You
start with just sector one and the others fogged out. In sector one
and can not be moved is the Mayors House. Hot Key H. it is your
starting storage and residence. So you have a base number of little
working men and you don't have to worry about how you get more for
some time. Newbies have a tendency to want to know everything
before they start. If so, read i think its ten pages or more of that
link I gave you. It will tell you every building, every chorse,
every quest and so forth. You can just search in there for it.
.
Now in the 'Clearing' phase we are going to ignore more advanced
things to do. For now. Be sure not to build more then they tell you
unless you get express permission in my guide. You will be making a
starter economy. The first other sector you get is 4, right above
number 1. There are no bandits in 4 so it gives you a chance to
start a next sector easily. All other sectors of the main island do
have bandits. There are copious guides on 'clearance', from general
to the more advanced bandit bosses which require special mixes of
soldiers to kill.
.
The most important thing here, unless you are buying gems, is to save
your gems to buy more building licenses. That is the biggest gap in
the haves vs the nave nots, enough building licenses to develop. I'm
currently reviewing how far you can get exactly to fully expand
withough spending $ on gems.
.
Try to do a little work on your own. I've just checked quests up to
nine, and most of the early ones that require three different clicks
actually make those icons glow and click. Give us a break, okay? Also
in the help icon which is under your avatar are explicit instructions
on how to do most things. I'll come back to some of this later.
.
GUILDS
.
Yes there are guilds, but since this is a game of cooperation more
then fighting each other, you dont need to worry about covering your
home island. You have to get a guild invite from a member that
has that power and you can leave simply by hitting the 'leave'
icon. These are the people you should go to for resources, adventure
partners and all those random things the game wants you to do. There
is a 24 hour cooldown between leaving a guild and starting a new one.

TRADE

One of the more important things to do is trade. You can't trade until
level 12. This is why is even more important not to waste resources.
There is more data about trade in my regular guide. For now just be aware
that in this stage of the game, it is entirely on the main island and
you get (nearly) all your abilities here. There is expansion starting
level 50 when you can start seeing the archepeligo, but you will take a
while to get there.
.
ADVENTURES
.
Blue Byte did a really smart thing for expansion. After you can do
'adventures' they take you off the main map into an infinty of of
foreign islands. This allows them infinte expansion without messing
up your home island. You can start doing them at level 26. The game
will put the adventure in your star. By clicing on it, the icon on
your left middle will open up allowing you to start. You can send
troops, take generals back and forth for more, etc. Its a basically
as simple as you can make it turtorial for the adventure system. You
do not have to have your island cleared to start doing adventures.
.
PVP
.
There is a PVP system now that basically uses the adventure code to
work. Except that you don't know how you are fighting. It uses a
different barracks, a buiding to make all the weapons instead of
one by one. I like many others started it, wasn't impressed and mean
to go back there someday. Its a pretty new feature and like others, does
not have to be done.
.
LEVEL 50+
.
At this level you will be able to open up the archepeligo with your
explorers. You can use elite troops if you have them, or regular troops.
You will be able to see using your geo when he will be able look for
advanced products that are used but not made on the home island.
By then you will have played on the average a few years and so the
overview does not need to cover the archepeligo.
