+1 Great point. Non-guild players should have no say on guild matters.

Dude(s).. I am sorry if I came out the wrong way.. I am sort of on your side as well.. as in, I don't like whats in Guild shop either.
I realize that I do have an overzealous way of presenting my thoughts.. So please do ignore them, if they look like an attack.. Again.. Sorry about that.

guild coins already trade at a pretty steep premium to gold coins (remember the good old days when they were about 1:1??)

If no one gets guild coins for 3 weeks --> prices inflate even further

meanwhile, the "fairness" issues pointed out above are worth thinking about --- peeps in guilds vs those who are not, big guilds vs small ones....

AND knowing the developers, it will likely be a tiny number of event resources, while losing your regular supply of guild coins.....

VOTE NO!!! JUST LEAVE IT ALONE BB'S

I would like it to be an option, that during events, people could choose either Guild Coins OR the 'equivalent' event items at every guild completion. Kinda like with the recent Christmas calendar, you knew what rewards there would be on certain days, and you had to pick one. Once you pick one, the other option goes away. Some people may consider accumulating GQ as more of a priority, others may choose the event items. Also, then, it wouldnt have to be an 'all' or 'nothing' type of thing... finish one GQ, pick the coins that time, next GQ completion....ooh, I'm so close to getting that special event thingie....having the extra event item would be great that time. Thanks for asking for feedback BB

I put event resources but why not split in half? Both might be a better option. Maybe half the guild coins and...25-50 of whatever event resource. As long as it is reasonable. If the pay out is 10 of whatever event resource then that is a bit obnoxious.

I think a bigger issue is that the guild quests suck. Paying some high end resources is not a quest. Look up the definition of quest. Let us do something, preferably something that involves the guild and not all these "quests" for each person to pay something they can barely make without any interaction from another guild mate. If you did this, I'll bet a lot more people would actually care what the reward is.

Why wouldn't you want event resources as a guild daily. I mean it makes sense to maximize your event resource earnings during event.

Those who voted NO must be out of their minds.

Remember, they said that they would balance the game to be fair to all players
That's the part, which scares many of us... No guarantee's that overall one would have more event resources.
If BB can confirm that.. I am all for more event resources..

Until then, I did vote for guild coins (without my mind )

I vote for event resources instead of guild coins during an event.

Public votes are probably the worst way possible to develop a game because generally people vote for what they think is in their best interest rather than what is best for the game overall. When developers ask for a public vote it shows that they lack direction and understanding of the game mechanics as a whole themselves.

Nearly all public game polls in their simplest form break down to a question of whether or not the game should be made easier. The general public will always overwhelmingly vote to make a game easier. The problem is that the very definition of a game is a challenge and by lessening the challenge the game is diminished.

Development decisions are best left to developers when they are motivated to make their game more interesting, challenging, and fun and to put in the time and effort to consider all ramifications of proposed changes, which is not something the players are going to do at large.
