I don't see where any changes to the footprint size of buildings is mentioned... Forever Witch towers, Frozen Manors, Noble Residences, and recently Arabian Residences all have had the same footprint size on the Home Island. Imagine my surprise and frustration to learn that the recent game update changed or bugged this.

I use to be able to move or delete and rebuild these buildings in order to complete daily or guild quest without any difficulty... This is not because of the changes to Map elements that cannot be removed by placing decoration buildings anymore.

I moved a Witch tower for a guild quest requiring movement of Hunters and I can now place Frozen Manors, Noble Residences, and Arabian Residences all on the same location but the Which Tower now does not fit!

So who changed the footprints of buildings and why isn't it in the Change Log or is this an unintentional bug related to the new Map element changes?

I had the same problem today with a mag res. I moved it from one spot to another to check spacing, and then it would not let me put it back in its original spot. I tried building another MR on that spot, and its shows that it will fit, but it will not build.

    Adventure map position:
First time visit - without a players general, the game centers the map and zooms out to the maximum
First time visit - if a players general is on the map, the camera focuses on the general
Revisiting - The camera goes back to the same position as when the player left the adventure

May I ask what was wrong with the old way? I was very happy to see my landing area when I went to the adv map for the first time, specially when starting one of the new adv for the first time... And happy to see the landing area when i sent a general for a ls...

We are running a lot of SE inside our guild and we swap the ls. SE always had a huge lag, usually I have to restart browser or at least refresh the game several times while doing the attacks.
Now is even worse. I got a ls. I had to refresh twice already and my general was not landed yet. And thank you very much, I know how the map looks like, I don't want to see the whole of it...

Just a suggestion, really... Instead of playing with zooming, can the team focus on fixing the landing areas on alibabas adventures? Not cool to send gens back home and send them again to adv map because the landing space is bugged and we can't move or use them anywhere on adv map... On my last Beautiful Princess I played hide and seek with generals for almost 2 hours until i had all of them available for attacks, they were stubborn and keep landed on bugged spots.

    Thank you

I agree. I had no problem with how it was and long for those days to return.

If you are interested, this is the reply I got from support when I asked the same question.
    Spoiler

Some adventure maps are large and it would help the players who try them for the first time to have an overview of the adventure they are about to begin.
    One army. Pretty please.

My answer to that would be: We can already zoom out when we want to, so that argument makes no sence to me.

This new zoom "feature" is annoying at best. I've watched things get continually dumbed down over the years. Heck, I rage quit for a month when they put those silly bobbing ! over leader camps. Like we didn't know a leader camp was gonna be hard?!?!?! Like we couldn't hover over the camp and see it said "Leader"?!?!?

I've since learned to take these things (mostly) in stride since it is, after all, just a game. But please stop trying to idiot proof everything. If somebody can't figure out it's a good idea to zoom out and have a good look on their own, that's no reason to force the rest of us to do so with no options to shut the "feature" off. If somebody can't figure out how to play the game, maybe they shouldn't.

The game have to load the entire map and it froze doing it. Each time until the general land it froze zooming out. We can't avoid it, waiting 16-20 min before moving to adventure map is not an option, the generals start landing AFTER we open the map at least once.

But back to the "Building: Map elements cannot be removed by placing decoration buildings anymore" could we undo this change? It's something that I think we all took into consideration when doing building placements. This is similar to the storehouse exit change that happened a little while ago. while the initial exit position of the improved storehouse may have been a bug, because people have gotten used to it, it's a much larger annoyance to change it now.
